My friend was hired for "content management" for a local restoration business. Basically he is being paid to keep a blog on the website. All he has been doing for the past 2 months is copying and pasting news articles that relate to the business / industry, and he puts the source link at the bottom. The website's traffic improved from around 300 unique visitors per month to around 550 unique visitors per month, and he made the company more business. So what's the deal? Is this a good idea? I thought duplicate content was bad? So why is he getting great results?
