    Hey guys, so I have my first site up, and I just want to be sure that I have the redirection right. When a user clicks my ad (or I send them to a secret page that redirects to the following aswell), it links them to the following page:

    myurl.com/redirect.html

    in this page, I have:
    Code:
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" >
    <html>
    <head>
    <!-- saved from url=(0014)about:internet -->
    <META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
    <title>You shouldn't see this!</title>
    <meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="0;URL=http://981739812....hop.clickbank.com">
    </head>
    <body>
    </body>
    </html>

    when I click this link myself, it effectively takes me to the affiliate, but it does not hide my affiliate ID, I see something like so:

    affilateurl.com/?hop=clickbankname

    Can i hide my clickbankname?

    I am trying to find the "double meta refresh" thing, but I can't seem to find it. Could someone explain it to me? (I assume it just means that you "bounce them" from one redirect to another, then from the second one to your actual target, to remove their trail) Oh and it is not a wordpress site, so I cannot use that awesome plugin that is flying around.

    thanks guys!

    I know a fair amount of php/mysql, and I am on shared hosting with kn0wnh0st.com, I have access to php/mysql including curl and cronjobs.

    What did you have in mind? Send it as a post instead of a GET? idk just a random guess lol.

    Thanks in advance

    EDIT: ok I found this thread
    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...ools/20750-double-meta-refresh-redirects.html
    it cleared up the double meta, but how can I hide my affiliate ID to the user when they visit the target site? Any ideas?

    for that you will need to contact the product owner and ask if you could use his/her sales page to promote his product.....and if agreed upon, you can host his sales page on your own hosting and affiliate code of yours is used there then to order the product so the visitor will not see your aff code while being on the sales page. this is how big players do.

    This is not mine. My name is not Randy Smith. However, I use this as a redirect, as it's free, simple to use, and does what it says on the tin. The only thing it costs you is your email address but you can always unsubscribe if you don't want to be on his list.

    All you need is a domain name for it to work - which you have already.

    If you're a bit of a technophobe then there's a simple cloak option as well as an advanced cloak option, however the software does come with a helpful manual and video too - if my memory serves me correctly which it normally does!!!
