    Hi Bhatters,

This will be my first serious venture. I have played around a lot with autoblogs before. But the idea didn't appeal much. So left them to hell.

Now am starting a technology News blog. I have sot the basic setup, hired a writer. I want to make it a legit authority site if possible.

Now so, i am using only original content written by a writer. (I have freelanced as a writer but now do not want to spend time on writing) I want to use my time nurturing my site(its my baby for now:D)

Now let me tell you what I have done-
1- Set up a WP (of course I bought a domain and hosting prior to that)
    2. Installed a few plugins
---- All in One SEO Pack
    ----Easy Privacy Policy
    ----Fast Secure Contact Form
    ----FeedBurner FeedSmith
    ----Get The Image
    ----Google Analytics for WordPress
    ----Google XML Sitemaps
    ----Quick Adsense
    ----Twitter Tools
    ----PC Robots.txt
    ----Wp-Super Cache
    3. Posted 2 posts - 1 post and 1 video form you tube
    4. set up adsense
    5. Oh sorry! I installed a minimal professional looking premium theme as well

    6. submitted to google(Already indexed- 5 pages when I search for my domain exact)

Any other must have plugins that I missed?

I plan to post 1 unique news article a day. My target is small (Or is it?)- I wish to make $4000 in the next 6 months. I will not ask you if this is possible. I know it is. Any ideas that take me closer are welcome.;)

    Now here are the problems-
My budget is Low about $100 a month is too much for me(including article writing:eek:)
Keeping this in mind, can you suggest me some must have tools?

Now, Next question is backlinks - How many do I build? How to build?
I have bought a list recently.

Should I manually go on posting on all of them or buy SB and learn to blast?

I am planing to also post 1 article a week on the WEB2.0 properties and back link from them. (Any inputs on the best WEB2 sites to use?)

I know there are many plugins but can anyone suggest me best plugin to automate Social Bookmarking?

Okay now, Its too many questions already. I will post here my activity as I progress. So this is not just a "Looting" thread but also, I will let you know if I have made any experiments and their outcome.

Now to the Big Brains of BHW, please give me your inputs. If you think I miss anything or of some service that would really help me (you know my budget right - its $100 a month)

Oh I missed it! Can any one tell me the best plugin to use for stats? I was using statpress all the while (On my autoblogs).

Thanks Guys - I cant think of anything else now. Oh remember - I am not a total noob. A little though:D. I understand your language, I have been reading you guys for more than 3 years now (Shame on me , Ah! right I know):p

Sounds like you are on the right track. One plugin you might wanna check out is something like wp cache to help everything load a bit quicker.

About backlinks I don't think you should only look for 1 specific type of backlink you need to diversify and get as many different types of links as you can.

SB is a great investment but if the site is brand new I would not blast to the money site. Instead blast the web 2.0s and they will transfer some link juice to your main site.

    Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the input. I cant believe I missed Wp-cache. Thank you for reminding me.

And regarding blasting on Web 2.0, sounds like a good idea.
Can you suggest me a few "best" web 2 sites?
I have recently bought TBS. Can I use this to spin 1 article and post it to all web 2.0 sites? I cant get the TBS to work properly though. Any guide on how to use it? I din't have a chance to look at the TBS user manual(Or does it have one?)

social media is great for this type of sites, fb, g+, twitter. just syndicate your post to your social network accounts to make it automated.
