So awhile back I started my first Adwords campaign. I ran it for a couple weeks. I broke even on my ROI .

I know I am not giving much detail but I am just wondering if in general am I doing good for breaking even on my first Adwords campaign???

    Thanks guys,

for your first PPC campaign you have pretty good. I know my first one was a disaster. What you need to do now is refine your campaign picking the profitable keywords. Remember with PPC tracking is everything

Breaking even on your first campaign is a good sign that you can eventually turn a nice profit after tweaking your ad groups, keywords, etc. Like gooser said, tracking is the difference between making decent money or getting canceled out.

Awesome thanks for the info guys. I will be honest though I don't know anything about tracking. Will I need a website that is compatible with Google Analytics ? I haven't used Google Analytics yet it's just the only thing I know that does tracking. And where would be the best to learn about tracking?

Will my CPA network offer tracking ?

    Wow I'm such a Noob :)

Is prosper202 something that would let me keep track of which adwords clicks lead to conversions on my email submits, etc ???? If not, could someone suggest of a way to track those!

Yes, prosper202/tracking202 will work if your CPA company has tracking pixel/URL capabilities (many do)

Install a Google Conversion Tracking (find the link in your Adwords dashboard) and send it to your AM. Once it's installed, then you'll see a whole new universe: your golden goose keywords.

Scrape all the blood-sucking ones and scale up the profitable keywords: increase bid, build a dedicated landing page, improve Quality Score.

IMO, in the wild world of PPC, there are three things that rule above all: track, track, track.
