The offer which I promoted was the Mate 1 dating offer over on CPA Beyond.

Out of the 57 clicks I can't get any conversion. I was direct linking and not using my own LP.

What can I do to improve this? Any comments would be much appreciated.

Try with some other offer. You're getting quite good traffic.

I think 57 click is not really enough to judge. just wait for a larger amount. by the way, is POF a dating site ? is it wise to promote a dating site inside a large dating site ?

I am by no means an expert, but...

    129,000 views for 57 clicks = suck a$$ CTR

Granted POF has a ton of pageviews (I use their site for dating myself), but that is pretty low CTR in my opinion.

You may want to reconsider the banner or text you are using to link from POF.

Essentially, you are paying $0.50 per click at the moment... so personally I would worry more about the CTR at the moment and figure on 2%-5% signup rate.

At that signup rate you would get 2-5 signups per 100 clicks. Make sure your lead generation fee makes it worth it.

    Good luck!

I would definitively agree with PachucoBro, for 129,000 views you must have at least 1000 clicks which result in 30 sign up or something, that's will be acceptable. Hope to hear you update from this bro.

try to narrow your target audience by location, gender, age, ethnicity, hobbies etc and try to see which converts more. after this testing pump the money to the best converting group

This is very helpful... meaning targeting your audience. POF offers a pretty extensive selection of criteria to target.

Also, I noted that in POF's advertising PDF they "BOAST" a 0.15% CTR!

As I said earlier I figure their CTR is much lower than say my 2% CTR for Adsense on one of my niche sites.

If you had a good banner ad or contextual link and got their optimal 0.15% you would have had 193 clicks on your offer. Using a low 2% conversion for signups you should get about 3-4 signups.

Doesn't look like good math unless they are signing up to refinance their mortgage or get a new credit card.

Seems like your ad title is way too irrelevant with your offer.

Yeah a CTR of .0004 is not going to cut it.

Change the banner. Put several banners in rotation.... like 20-30.

Also target the people by the number of ads that they have seen already.
    That should make a difference...

and of course cycle thru several dating offers too

You CTR is bad. Your traffic is bad. Make changes and attract the right clickers.

I have made money selling dating sites offers on dating sites.
Those are the people more likely to join.
They sometimes believe that they are not getting enough responses from the FREE dating site...
and they think they will get more responses from the paid sites....
    so they sign up.

There is so much misinformation on BHW these days.
That is why I hardly post anymore.

People post responses with no real world experience to backup what they post.
I bet half of the people that posted here have never used POF with a dating offer.

Experiment on combining different categories related to your campaign. Eg. age combined with weight and height will get better results for weight lose and beauty products. Pof is not all about dating as far as we blackhatters are concerned. It's about finding insecurities and how we can solve them and in turn legit members of pof to be able to utilize your offer to succeed in finding a partner.

Wow, that's a pretty bad click through rate, but the bright side is there's almost nowhere but to go up from here. Hopefully you'll work it out to have a ton more clicks and even a few conversions. Good Luck. :)
