    Day 8 - Update

I didn't do much with the site this week as I was busy with work but like I said I won't stop until I archive my goal. I'm still waiting for Adsense to approve my website and I did not apply for amazon associate yet. I'm also waiting for my main writer to send me the articles I paid for. Today I placed two more orders, 1000 words for each article from two different writers. Tomorrow I will place many more orders and do more keyword research.

    Total money spent: £127.43

I finally applied for amazon associates, now I need to wait to get approved. Still waiting for Google Adsense to approve my site. I added 4 more article reviews, averaging 1,000 words per post. I did not buy more content yet. In the next few days, I plan to add more content. I will aim to add bigger articles, ranging from 2k - 5k words. The next update will be in a few days.

Don't know if you are directly posting review and future money articles already (even without referral), but I'd try to focus just on info content until you get out of Google sandbox, and your amazon/adsense accounts approved.

I always wanted to try my own amazon associate journey as I have seen so many success stories here on BHW. The fact that I can pay others to review products and get a passive income is awesome. My main source of income will be Amazon. I'm adding Adsense for extra income. If it won't work well, I will only focus on Amazon.

    Thank you :)

Yes, my main focus is quality content but I think keyword research is important too. I think it will take 2 months at least to get out of the Google sandbox.

    Day 15 - Jan Update

I got an update from Google Adsense "Your site isn’t ready to show ads". I uploaded images on my server from Google. I guess that is the problem. I have to replace all images and apply again. It sucks because using Amazon SiteStrap sucks, the images are not the best and also I cannot use images on widgets and homepage. I guess I have to find an alternative.

    Next..

I ordered bigger articles. First one 1,700 words and second 2,200 words. I also started writing my own 3k words article.
This month I want to focus just on my content. I want to have at least 40-50 quality posts before the end of Feb.

Two weeks already passed and I think I did a good job so far. But yes, I could have done better.

    Day 23 - Update

I finally added 1 article of 3,000 words, it is a 10 best x review type. I also added my own written article of 1,100 words but it took me 2 days to write. It's best in my interest if I don't write articles myself at all but instead pay someone to do so. I can use the time instead of for keyword research and to come up with specific titles and content templates ideas for each article.

My website has been rejected by Google Adsense twice. I do not use any images at all, no thumbnails. The only images I use are from Amazon Associates Sitestripe so I have permission to use those images. I don't know why my site has been rejected. So not sure if I will put Google ads on my website. As for Amazon Associates, I need to sell 3 items for the team to review my website but since I do follow all the rules I have nothing to worry about.

My next step is to find cheaper writers on Fiverr. I do want to meet my deadline by having at least 40 quality posts by the end of February.

what would you say would be the sweet spot to pay someone for writing those 1,000 word articles?

I use vultr, I pay about $10 per month. I never had problems with vultr. As my website gets larger with more visitors, I will upgrade to a better package. As for shared hosting, please don't use them.

I feel like $10 is a fair price for 1,000 words. You can spend more or less. For native English writers, you need to pay way more.

    Thank you :D

Impressions are starting to pick up, although, only a few query keywords are showing. I accidentally ordered the same content for the same product. I need to be careful next time but it wasn't a waste as I added the content on the first article.

It is so important to map out your content before ordering from writers. Research the product and make a list of problems and include solutions. Get information from Amazon product page and manufacture's website. Look at the user manual for a ton of content. Look at amazon reviews and questions, forums, Reddit, Youtube, and other platforms. The more detailed the review, the more likely you will get ranked page 1. I learned it the hard way.

My next goal for next week is to order and post 10 articles using the strategy above. I feel like 1,000 words are not enough for my niche, for a single product reviews.

For long articles like the ones you are shooting for, I'd definitely prefer to use more premium writing services. But I understand your situation. Are you satisfied with the quality of the articles you get for 10$?
