    Hello BHW community :)

I have been on this forum for a long time but I never really took any action and that is about to change today. I will be starting my own fresh amazon associate site. My main and ultimate goal is to earn a minimum of £1,000 per month. I don't care how long it will take but I will persist until I succeed.

When I say fresh start, I mean it. I'm not a affiliate member of amazon as of yet. I need to apply for Amazon associate program as soon as I add a couple more articles on the site. I don't have a lot of money to buy an expired domain name or to pay for SEO services but instead I will spend what money I have on content.

I already picked a niche and I made a list of low competition keywords for articles. My aim for now is to find good and reliable writers. The tool that I use for finding low competition keywords is KWFinder. I will monetize my site with Amazon associate program and Adsense.

    What I did so far?
    • Got myself hosting and domain name
    • Made a list of low competition keywords
    • Setup a Wordpress website
    • Posted 1 Article
    • Paid for 5 articles (2 articles were so bad, I had to ask for a refund)
    Next steps for today
    • Order more content
    • Finish the site, add privacy, terms, disclosure pages
    • Add website to Google Console
    • Add Google Analytics
    • Write an article myself of 1,000 words
    • Post one more article on the site

    Investment,Profit and Site Info
    Total money spent: £90.59
Total money earned: Big fat £0

    Total words: 968
    Total articles/posts: 1

The main reason for this journey is for motivation, not only to motivate myself so I won't slack but also to motivate you, to take action if you haven't so far. I'll update with my progress, earnings and anything interesting as it happens. Wish me luck! :smirk::cool:

My main focus will be on amazon affiliate, I don't think it is a bad idea to add Adsense.

Fiverr is my main source but I also look for articles here on BHW marketplace. I will try upwork and Freelancer.

I hired a few writers to see what kind of content they produce. So far I only found one good writer on Fiverr, I pay £10 (about $13) for 1,000 words. I know I can find a better deal but until I do I'll use the guy on Fiverr.

I only add 1,000 words articles for a single product reviews. I will aim for bigger articles only if I do product comparisons or articles such as Best 10 x reviews, top 5 x for ...

    Day 3 - Update

    What I did?
    • The website is all set, all the pages and plugins are there. I just need to add the aawp plugin once I get accepted into amazon affiliate program. For now I will be only adding content.
    • Submitted website on google search console
    • Added google analytics
    • Submitted my website on Adsense for my site to show ads (I need to wait a few days)
    • Posted my own written article - 620 words
    • Paid for 2 more articles - each 1,300 words but I will need to wait 5 days
    What I will do next?
    • I will write longer articles at least 2,000 words
    • Order more articles from different writers - hopefully at a better rate
    • Apply for Amazon associate program in a few days

    Total money spent: £108.33
    Total money earned: £0

    Total words: 1,590
    Total articles/posts: 2

The next update will be in 2 days. I don't want to bore you guys with mirror updates :p

I would suggest adding some content (4-5 articles) first and then submit to search console. Following your journey, keep hustling.

    Hi Mate,

This seems like a promising journey. You are taking action and that's great. May I ask how did you do your keyword research and what tools did you use?

Thanks a lot and good luck :) . Following

There are a few tools that I use

    Free:
    alsoasked.com
    answerthepublic.com
    keywordsheeter.com

    Paid:
    KwFinder

Honestly, I'm not the best with keyword research. What I do first is I look at the products available in my niche, next I use the free tools to come up with an article idea and at last, I use KWFinder to check the competition. If the competition is low I go and place orders for articles.
