I bought a $50 fb ads coupon in $5, created my first facebook ads campaign and created 3 to 4 different ads in it with different pics and different types of ads (News feed, side bar etc). I used fbleadchef to scrape users that are active in that niche using niche specific pages. Only scraped 60,000 user profile ids (in number format). Uploaded them and ran a few ads. Here is what my stats are so far.

What do you guys think of that? I am getting likes in good price($0.06 per laser targetted like) but they are slow as I have kept the CPM as low as $0.5. My coupon expires in 23 days so I think I should increase the CPM (as you can see in image I have already increased it a bit).

I welcome suggestions and questions. Will update the thread when some changes occur. :)

You are doing good. Run it for 24 hours to get a real evaluation of your result. It's too early to say anything.

increasing cpm a bit (to $1) for 1 ad to test

Thanks for replies and suggestions.

@princevisi: Yeah lols I dont I uploaded the images in correct size but perhaps some auto resizing caused this.

Here goes the stats as of today:

I was a complete noob and it was my first campign. Just a few threads about successes with FBLEADCHEF and wanted to test. I have learnt a few things from this ad campaign which I will soon share. Right now I am doing my daily 9 to 5 (7:40 to 5 actually). See ya.

not bad for a 1st timer, not bad at all. Mind asking, do you redirect the visitor from the ad to your website or fanpage itself? Asking cause I am running 2 same products with one direct to my website, and the other to fan page itself. The latter convert much more better than to the website.

I am running for page likes only. No redirecting. Using CPM method though. Are you using custom audience?

Not custom audience. A good fan page like gate will also make more audience to click and share. I am running contest and poll, both work like a charm to me.

Can you share your stats or more details?

UPDATE

I used a different picture and created one more ad in the same campaign as above. And see what happened.
1.jpg

CTR: >8%
Total spent: 0.21
Total likes: 26
Price per like: less than 0.01

And this is just because the picture is so targetted and tempting for that niche.

Keep optimizing bro by creating more creatives. Your ctr is good but keep testing more ads.

any suggestions on monetizing from it? right from the ads I mean. Getting likes on page and then sending them to your site is quite long process.

Good job on facebook ads. Unfortunately, that's how it works, also keep in mind that not all your fans will see your page's post.
The other way is sending traffic directly to your website, and if your website is against facebook policies, you need to use cloakers, now that's a whole other story :D

How many likes you got? in what time and how much you spent?

Thanks

The cost per like is 0.02 in this image as my initial ads were not so fruitful. Now i am getting each like in 0.01
