    Hi All

This is my first attempt at establishing / setting up an ecommerce site via a drop shipping business model.

I have basically had to learn everything from scratch, and still actually know very little, as I am sure you will see on the site.

I would, however appreciate any and all opinions on the progress made so far, (the thumbnail images are supposed to appear next to the product, but they aren't so I am still trying to work that one out)

All suggestions and criticisms are welcome please!!!!

    Thanks
    :)

[edit] I know the site takes a while to load when selecting categories, I am also trying to sort that out!

    Looks great bro,

Good luck on your white hat venture, keep us updated. I'm very interested in something like this as well, PM me if you want to stay in touch and get my IM.

P.S. When I clicked the male section the images did not load. The Virtuemart slideshow is blurry.

    Thanks drey2k

I cannot seem to "zoom out" from the slide show, I had another module installed which cause the script to stop completely, and for the life of me I cannot find a solution on the relevant forums. The same with the images, although they are all uploaded. (The joy of being an absolute newbie....lol!!!)

Thanks for the input! (PM sent)

    :)

    Hi Andre,
    Welcome to internet marketing.

I think its great that you've jumped straight in at the deep end, so many people these days want spoon feeding on how to make money, i think with a bit of work your site could net you a nice passive income.

Ok, so my first thoughts, as an internet user are:

Your site was quite slow, i have a 20mb connection and it took a while to load for me, wether this is the same for other people, i dont know - but speed is a big factor in web success.

Secondly, no images - this is a school boy error, you NEED images for your products - would you buy something you couldnt see an image of, before you bought? You NEED to get some images sorted.

Third, replace the Joomla icon, in the address bar, it adds a touch of professionalism, and removes the newbie stigma.

Withought looking into your website too deep thats as much as i can come up with, please take it as constructive criticism, i think you will do well if you rectify these basic navigation/user issues.

    Best of luck,
    MSH.

Well dang that looks pretty good so far to me. Where'd you get that theme?

Thanks, I really appreciate the input. The images and speed are also issues for me. Although all the images are there (on the server) the thumbs aren't showing - I have to comb through the forums to find a solution.

After searching through millions (well it felt like millions) of templates and options there is a complete bundle with Virtuemart and Joomla, which had this theme in. And then I just played with the modules.
