you can just bank it in your bank account, it will take a while for it to be cleared though, when I lived in NZ it took a month for a US check to clear.
I can't remember the exact procedure for International 'transfers', but the DE-Bank needs to verify the check by sending it back to the original bank it came from...And they don't send with Fedex so that usually takes 8-9 business days...This is where I lost it; when it is verified, the US-bank will send it back to the DE-bank, the DE-bank 'buys' the check and puts the $$$ into your account (???)
Yeah, for checks it's usually 1 month. Sometimes less, sometimess more. The good part though is that you'll suffer only in the beggining. After 3 succesful payments by check, you can choose to be paid by direct deposit. So you'll have the money in your bank account the same day it is sent.
This is the primary reason why ClickBank is not for me.
From where I come from, it's easier and faster to cash in on US Banks like Citibank, and the likes. It usually takes 2-3 weeks to clear compared to local banks which can take up to 1 month.
