    Hi guys,

I haven't been posting here for very long, and so far I seem to be getting all the help - just thought I would share a little trick that I have used that maybe some of you are unaware of, to try and pay back the community a little.

This isn't a full 'system', just a way of getting some extra leads if you are using CPA.

Find an item on ebay that you know will get THOUSANDS of views - as an example, I went onto ebay Pulse and found a model of classic car in the 'most watched' section.

I then found some pics of a similar car on the net, and made an ebay listing for it. I started the listing really cheap (£99), and with no reserve - to maximise the amount of interested parties of course.

I uploaded just one of the photo's I found onto the actual ebay system, and then in the text of the ad I included 'click this link for more images'.

At the link's location, I made a simple HTML page with all of the photo's on, and then installed BHCB onto it.

So, I ended up with around 7,000 viewers wanting to see the extra pics of the car, and each of them having to complete one of my submits in order to do so...

As an additional 'incentive', quite a few ebayers asked me for a contact number (you will almost always get this, especially with a car ad), so I added an extra note on the listing saying 'if anyone wants to call that's cool, my number is at the bottom of the photo page' - I added a number, but not mine!

In other words, I gave the people who REALLY wanted this fictious car TWO good reasons to complete one of my submits!!

Unfortunately I didn't manage to get all 7,000 to buy into my BS, but I got a good few hundred, which more than covered the £8 ebay fee (obviously you need to end the listing manually towards the end to avoid extra ebay fees and an unhappy 'buyer'!).

Hope everyone likes it, hope it may be unique(?), and if I haven't explained it clearly, please ask away!

    All the best.

interesting, the other thing you could do is get a friend to make a ridiculously high bid right at the end of the auction and exchange positive feedback :)

you just need to hope it doesn't backfire

Yes, you can do that, but there is no need to (you can simply click 'end listing' as long as there is more than 12 hours remaining) and it will end up costing final value fees - we don't want to lose our hard earned profits do we ;)

Thanks Mark, glad I managed to impress someone :)

Being my first post of this type, I was a little worried it may have been labelled as lame!

Hope it works for you anyway, best of luck.

In the UK we pay £8 listing fee, then around a further £20 final value fee if the car sells - some items are cheaper, but may not get you as many 'hits' as a car.

By ending my listing 'early' I just had to pay the £8 listing fee.

    Hope that made sense.

hey so in US dollars whats the profits gained by each person who have tried this method ... vary curious about this after stumbling across it? do the listing and early auction ending fees outweigh the profits earned?

fucking great method, you could even advertise it on craigslist to get more hits

eg ( to bid on the car, please visit my ebay page) and them seeing an ebay link will add to your credibility :)

    wow...that's a whole method of it's own.
    This is GOLDEN.
although one problem, won't ebay start suspeding your account because you don't actually sell the item itself?

Agreed. People would start complaining about your BS and your account would be dead in a few hours

Hmm..this could possibly work if you can buy accounts with 10 feedback(100%)
and use proxies to post the listings...

imagine if CS'ing ebay was still alive!

you would make $1k per day with this method.
