As many old members know me. I want to share a few things which some of you might find interesting and some might find useful to avoid the same mistakes I have done in my life.

Lurking Around

Back in the 2010s I was a 20-year-old guy in college who need pocket money so I was searching for ways to make money but never took anything seriously fast forward 2 years around 2012 I was in a difficult financial crisis and I was in need money for my tuition fee which my parents could able to arrange half of it and I have got $100 for living expenses, I was lurking on the forum for a long time those times MNS(micro niche sites) was a huge hit there was a Bangladeshi guy who was selling MNS who promised to help in ranking the MNS with the package so I have spent that $100 on MNS and applied for AdSense which got approved easily and I was waiting, later I came to know about SEO and difficulties in ranking good keyword(it was super easy to rank any longtail shit keyword back then) long story short ,waiting for few months i couldn't able to rank it so i decided to sell it for a loss but eventually i found buyers who were interested in MNS so i end up selling the site for profit and eventually learnt how to design a website ,how to use WP and Onsite SEO.

My Fortune
I started selling my Business here in BHW and business was very good. Like everyone else I wanted to my eggs in a different basket to diversify so, I have invested in Health CPA blogs, Garcinia, Acai berry, and lots of other health blogs and I was making good cash, later I started doing PPI, and game niche CPA which was also doing good. I was into Email marketing and made quick cash from it.

My Failure
I wanted to get into the crypto train so I have invested in the GPU which is the stupid decision I made in life I have invested $10k+ on the GPU and other CPU parts, I have zero hardware knowledge so in the end, I have lost everything on the hardware and I have bought crypto which was $450 and it was fell down to $40.And in between I have lost 2 close people to cancer and this loss has pulled me down later, I got hospitalized because of a medical condition, but I have tried to come back I had some decent savings which eventually saved me for a few years, I tried to come back but I couldn't able to sit in front of a computer for a long time.

Things which I have learned from experience:

1) Never stop learning (I have stopped learning I thought I knew everything ), and keep yourself updated.
2) Never take pride in your Head
3) Save at least 50% of your income
4) If you are Investing in Risky Asset like crypto the money which you can afford to lose (Don't lose your bread and butter money crypto)
5) Always keep an emergency fund for medical emergencies
6)Don't hold a Grudge against anyone it's for others, it's for our own mental health (Just forgive and move on), Imagine there are hundreds of dead people in this forum who were just posting and shooting the shit in the lounge so just let them go.
7)Never Forget your old friends(Never forget friends who stood with you are poor, or when you are in trouble)
8) Always keep your family first and then your health you should not compromise it.
9) Don't mix friendship with business, there are no friends in the business. if you know something never do it for free , once you do it for free the product/service loses its value.
10) Money is always ultimate,

  • The Respect I was having when I had good money and the respect I get from people I know when they know I'm empty pocket I can see easily.
  • Money Gives you Respect
  • There is no Good or Bad person in this life, if you do things that are necessary to the person he will consider as good if you don't you are a bad person. So it's the need that decides it.
  • When I have spent the last bit of money I had I decided to come back to the forum and relearn, it's very easy to learn but it's very hard to relearn things.

  • There is a person whom i want to thank who always prays for me though i never met him in real life he is from the USA, Thank you bro for your love and affection.
  • Going back to the old days of sitting and reading I still remember I was having a wine bottle, drinking and enjoying my day, working on a sunny day, and taking a walk in the evening.
  • Nothing has changed just the body has put on some weight my heart is still the same eager to learn something new and make my living ($500-1k/day to $0/day I have seen both lives)
  • I Remember the prodigal son story and relate it to me very much.
  • Over the past 10 years I have made a bunch of friends, some of them are in contact with me till date I have a friend who came all the way to the county I was staying just to meet and hangout and we become good friends.
  • Glad to see lots of old members still in the forum Glad to meet you all!
Special mention: I started my part-time small work with Microworkers there was a time i used to work 5-10 hours a day and when i hit the withdrawal amount limit and micro workers ripped me off which made me feel very bad and i have found BHW.If micro workers paid and not ripped me off I would have ended up working micro tasks and making $5-10/month

Thanks for sharing. Points 4 and 5 are crucial! Point 4 went over a lot of people's heads (including my own) during the 2021 asset bubble.
Point 1 also hit hard; I've gone through period of major stagnation where I didn't learn a new skill for a few years and just let the existing inertia carry me for a while. But I am back to learning and growing!

I wish you the best on your journey!

End of the fucking story. Well Said!
Thanks mate! When i was in my peak I used to get calls from my bank manager asking to invest in Different portfolios and begging me to keep the money in some days so that he can get some promotion but when i was broke i went to ask for a $5k Loan they treated me like shit.
I used to get midnight phone calls from people I know offline and online also I have helped tons of people but when i was in trouble none offered any help i don't blame anyone its just the world as it is ! I'm a dumbfuck who expected lots from people and helped many even in the middle of the night.
No money=No Respect. Simple
