my failed experience and on the verge of quitting

I'm going to be as blunt as I'd be with myself:

1. You only have 146 pages indexed in Google after two years, Google considers anything under 500 pages to be a small website. So, when you say "A lot of content" you published one page of content a week for two years. Think about it that way, is that really a lot?

2. Your site's load time is bad. Google doesn't want to rank a site with 5-second load times on mobile.

Here, I compared your homepage's pagespeed with one of my internal pages:

Think about this... You're competing for search traffic with sites like mine... Sites publishing thousands of pages a day... Are you really optimized enough to even keep someone interested?

3. Your links are trash. The first links I'm seeing are in Latvian, Chinese, and Cyrillic. Sure you have thousands of them, but remove yourself from this equation and ask yourself:

Would Google reward a small and slow site with tons of trash links with traffic?

4. 20,000 emails aren't a lot. Just do the math, if you're at a 8% open rate, 25% CTR, and then a 3.5% conversion rate... How much are you making per drop?

I really don't understand what you guys did for two years, but I'd either get someone who knows what they're doing to take over or I'd advise you to do something you're good at.

Also, getting affiliates without a CPA network requires you to work with someone that's done it before.

And that's an entirely different skillset than SEO.

If you want I'll give you thirty mins of time to talk you through things. I've owned and launched several nutra offers (using CPA affiliates) and know your industry pretty well. I can chat with you in my free time.

What made you pick that niche?

Was there a successful competitor that inspired you? What do they do that you don't?

Do you have a passion for and expertise in this niche? Are you sure there is even a market and demand for your product?

Who is your target audience/customer? What problem does your product solve?
There's actually pretty good demand and the margins are wild.

Unfortunately, I can't remove or edit the post for some reason.

So, essential refocus on existing pages and try to increase the ranks by working on the on page SEO. Yes 83 blog posts.

Thank for you input and advice. This was critical and I appreciate it. That example you sent me is def what I should be doing. Should I be removing the forwards to get rid of those anchors?
I advise deep diving into the non-relevant anchors and links standing behind them. And remove them. All that you can`t remove by self try to Disavow via the GSC

I've got a question about your mailing list.

You said that you're trying to warm up your mailing list.

How did you build the mailing list in the first place?

Are these people who signed up on your website?

Did they find your content on Google when they're entering keywords, and then they see your article, then they see on the side that you're offering some sort of freebie or you're offering free advice, and then they joined?

Or is it something else?

Did you just buy the emails from somebody else who claims that it's related to your industry?

Because if your email list is organic and the product of content marketing, you just need to focus on the initial promises you made to people when they signed up for your list, and you should be able to "warm up" your list fairly quickly with more focused and targeted updates.

Wondering why a person who has these much experience in blogging expose his own domain.

thank you all for your suggestions and support. I made a newbie mistake by posting the URL and I can’t remove it. Out of curiosity what’s so bad about that? How can I remove it?

From my understanding, I should remove negative backlinks by using disavow feature. Will this hurt me at all in the short term? My action item is to start removing them regardless.

Also, I should be focused on increasing the word count on existing ranking pages, using an on page optimizer such as POP for pages with ranking keywords to try and increase or solidify ranking. Along with this I should be adding more blogs daily. Im

Page speed is another technical factor I have to focus on. I use Shopify so I’m hoping I can find an effective way to increase the page speed.

I need to find an effective way to increase backlinks for my specific niche. I’ve found a few sources who offer this service, but I’m not sure if I should commit to it or how to approach it so it is trustworthy and effective.

I also need insight for offering a lucrative and appealing affiliate program. Which I have no experience in.

I appreciate all the advice and hope I can continue receiving such good information. Thank you all!

if im missing anything please, let me know!
