My chosen expired domain has 5 registrar changes with 3 drops over the course of 16 years, is it bad ?

Also the domain does not contain any backlinks or anchor text, Should i go with it?
The Domain has my primary keyword, but finding available domains with backlinks is very hard in my niche.

Additional info.
The domain isn't blacklisted or spammed.
The domain has clean content on way-back machine.

If the domain is clean and not spammed will be a good domain.

EMDs/PMDs are overrated. If you do not have much experience with SEO, you are always better off with a brandable domain, otherwise you might end up easily overoptimized.

Not to mention, that there are basically no benefits at all from having your keyword in the domain.

The fact that the domain has no backlinks now, doesn't mean it didn't have hundreds in the past. Check Majestic historic index.

Most of the EMD/PMD domains have been abused in the past and I know of a few cases where people didn't realize that and were never able to rank those domains.

So going after a domain that has a questionable history and has no backlink profiles doesn't make any sense to me. Your possible reward is 0 and you are risking your entire project.

The domain first hosted the content in sept of 1999, it ran until 2001 it was dropped. Again it was live in 2009 somebody used it until 2013 it was dropped then again in 2016 used it and dropped it in the same year.

According to Wayback machine.
