I recently posted a thread here asking about the best SEO services/people to rank MNS. As expected I got a ton of offers from members here but there was one that stood out. I checked the guy out (websites, posts on BHW, etc.) and had a little chat with him on skype. Seems like he's a real stand up guy, knows what he's talking about and assured me he'll be using white hat SEO mostly. Better for long term results. We agreed on a monthly price per site but to gain some trust he offered me a "50% discount review copy" with a money back garantuee if I'm not happy. In other words, nothing to lose.

Since these are all MNS with a TrafficTravis score of "relatively easy" to rank, I expect at least first page ranking results. Top 3 might be a bit optimistic but it's SEO so anything can happen i guess. Why this thread? Well, first of all I know there are a lot of people looking for solid SEO people for outsourcing. If this turns out to be a great deal, I'll disclose who it is I'm working with to whoever wants to know. Second, and this might be a bit of a nasty trick :p , this thread will put a little pressure on my guy. Knowing this will make or brake his rep and boost his sales.. not that I'm here to ruin him if things go wrong. I'm just going to be honest and that's it.

Anyway gave him a website that was ranking 14 after 2 fiverr gigs. SEO campaign started on 19 Septembre, which is 4 days ago. First 2 days where quiet but I saw a big increase in backlinks so I've been expecting a big dance from G and yesterday it came through. Ranking 222 since yesterday according to serpbook. Hoping to bounce back in a couple of days but I'll keep this thread updated daily.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I guess that's it for now..

Always love when someone states "Whitehat SEO only" lol... Is he doing guest posts for you? I doubt it as that would drive the cost up substantially. Other than that lets face it there is NO whitehat seo in regards to google's point of view. Every link he builds is with the intent to increase your ranking etc... but you do not add any - which realy is only the case with a guest post.
Well nevertheless good luck with the service

yeah tbh I don't really care if it's white hat or black hat.. results is most important and as long as he isn't blasting my sites with crap links I'm fine with it. I receive weekly reports so I'll know more than

All sites are EMDs, premium designs, top quality articles, images + vids, etc.

yes I will as soon as I know that the guy is legit and good at what he does.. I'm not gonna refer anyone if I don't know if whether I'm doing good or bad..

Btw I have a small question.. today I drop from 222 to 228 but that would be the third day in a row under 200. Still dancing or penguin hit? No webmaster message though so I guess not, right?

    Another update

So from Sept 26 to Sept 28 I disappeared from the SERPs ?? Today I got back in but still on #197
Don't know how you guys see this but I'm starting worry a bit :D I've never experienced such low rankings during an SEO campaign. Usually I jump to #50 for about 4 or 5 days but than I get back to page 2 and only up from there on.

The funny thing is that this mns is already bringing in between $1 an $2 a day from adsense.. I have no idea were the traffic is coming from but I'd love to see this site ranked #1 for the main keyword because this could be a $6 a day mns.

    2 WEEKS UPDATE

Alright it's almost been 2 weeks since we started. I can't say much actually because my site has disappeared again from the SERPs since my last update.. That's 7 full days of being deindexed :(
Don't know what is going on because I didn't receive any message in webmaster tools? All I can say is that I've never seen a website acting like this while doing SEO and ranking.
I know it might be to soon to say this but I have pretty much given up all hope. Also the recent EMD update of G will not do me much good. Kept adding content though but not seeing any positive results.

Anyway, we've still got another 2 weeks to go so we'll see than. If I don't rank first page by then, I'll just get my refund and leave it with that.

Here is a serpbook screenshot to get a more visual idea

The results you've seen are what make me worry about trying any of the gray/black techniques on BHW. I have an online store and would like to see it start moving up. I rank really well on a couple of very specific keywords but haven't been able monetize them yet. I hope things run around for you or you at least get you money back!

It's not really the money I care for. It's just that I had a pretty good feeling and thought I'd finally found my SEO guy. But by writing the above post I realized that I might have jumped to conclusions to soon. In the end, it's all G's fault with their ridiculous updates!

Yeah I suppose the money isn't the issue in the big picture. G's updates are exactly why I worry about the gray/black stuff. I don't want to lose what I've gotten so far using a bit of onsite SEO and our blog. Maybe some type of buffer site would be the way to go...

    Thanks for sharing your results.

Lol that is how they force people into using Adwords my friend ;)
You'll never know if you don't try but I wouldn't worry to much about an ecommerce site actually. It's mainly the EMDs that currently are vulnerable. Good luck anyway ;)
