    Hi.
I had a dispute requesting a refund of $10. The seller however didn't give any reply to that case and PP have sent me an email stating that my dispute will be closed soon:
So my question is, will I get a refund after it is closed (if the seller gives no reply til that)? And if not then what should I do?
I never had a dispute so that's why I'm asking.
Sorry if the section is wrong.

If it is a claim and the other party doesn't reply then automatically paypal will decide it in your favor but if it is simply a dispute then it will be closed not in your favor so i suggest you check first if you have escalated it to a claim

You wont get your money once when the case is closed..claim it before it closes.open your paypal and claim it.

Yes I was in a similar situation to you not long ago. You should go ahead and escalate the dispute.

like others have mentioned, you have to escalate. if you dont, paypal will assume seller worked things out with you and automatically close your claim.

Yep, I just had to do this with someone on bhw. They never responded and I got my money after I escalated it to a claim.

I'm not sure in this case; but I always thought that Paypal is on the customer's side.. so even if you don't escalate it, they will still refund you.. not sure though.

I say this because I worked for an online retailer and they were always kicking the customer service's ass to reply to the disputes daily or we would lose the disputes. again, not sure..

Yes once the dispute is escalated if there is no response from the seller then PayPal will "review" the matter and make a decision. However if you don't escalate, it's a dispute but it is more informal as the buyer and seller communicate with each other and try to reach an agreement.
