    Hi all.

On June 16th my Dad is cycling 54 miles, or 87 km, from London to Brighton. He is fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support.

If anyone has some spare change and willing to make a small contribution to his fundraiser it would mean so much to both of us. I wouldn't normally ask online for contributions, but this is the first time my Dad has taken on such a big challenge and so it's a very special event. Any contribution, big or small, would be greatly appreciated.

Nevertheless, wish him luck on his journey to raise money for Cancer care!

    Thanks!!

    Good luck to him.

If you use bicycle frequently, you'll realize 87 km is nothing but a few hours training. Say 500 km and then we're talking something equivalent to marathon.

Hey good for him, and good luck.

There was a man from Seattle that tried to get to Brazil this month (wasn't cycling though) and only made it to Oregon before getting hit and killed. I don't know if someone did it purposely but make sure he isn't doing this as a promotion thing or someone might want to take him out. o_O

I will surely fund when I am getting my 2nd payment. Well, I have an idea. May be its a foolish one, But I am talking in a SEO perspective. If you can get that website on top for any oh the keywords, even if it is getting a 1k searches a month, I am sure that your dad will get more and more contributions. Just my 2 cents.

    This is to your dad,

"HI sir, Best Best wishes from me. I still remember the bad days when I was driving my aunt to RCC(Regional Cancer Center, Thiruvananthapuram) thats my place. Doctors found it out at the brim of the 2nd stage, almost third stage starting. First they removed the uterus and they found that her belly was full of .....oh my god, cant believe...

Well, I used to say G is G, God is Great :) She is very well now, so that we all. No cancer, no medicines.I strongly believe your initiative will be a good motivation to many of those, who are ready to do such great things. May God bless your journey.
NB : Take care of yourself, I hope you are a good bicycle driver, lol :) Best wishes sir. Good luck"

My Dad did something similar few years back, but it took a bit more, 115 km if i remember :)
He's a sportsman so it wasn't so hard for him.

Anyway good luck to your Dad.

Wish your dad good luck. Donated as well by the way. Good cause.

I was going to do something similar, a night time one, but my friends told me I'm too unfit, and I don't own a bike:(
