Hello BHW,
Well, it's a very odd problem that I am facing from few days and couldn't get any solution, thought if any of you faced the same problem and have a solution.
So, certain websites are not opening in my computer. To be specific, I have 3 hosting accounts, and websites from 1 hosting account is not loading in my PC from any browser.
Now, the problem is not with the hosting as I can open the websites from proxies or other internet connection or other devices just fine. In fact, I am opening the websites from my Mobile using the same internet wifi and its opening fine.
So something is wrong with my PC then.

I have tried the following things which didn't work:

1. Flushing DNS
2. Changing DNS to google dns and opendns.
3. Unplugging modem then plugging back in.
4. Changing mtu value
5. Trying different browsers
6. Reviewing the host files
7. Disabling the IPv6 option
8. Uninstalling antivirus and browser addons
9. Repairing/Resetting winsock
10. Formatting my PC then installing other OS.

I am not out of ideas.
Anyone have any other ideas?

Note: All other websites are opening fine except the websites from my particular hosting.

Thanks in advance.

The same happened with me 2 days back and yesterday it was fine.
So give it a rest or use proxies till that time or contact ISP provider

Cheers

Add your websites to the host file.

Happened to me, It's probably just cache stored files, It'll work fine i a coule of days or so.

What a weird problem!
When I see "unlogical" problems like this one, I always tend to "accuse" M$ windoZe. Well, I hate windoZe, that's the point.
I'd like to tell you: Format your hard drive, get rid of this shitty OS, and install linux.
But, I guess this is not what you want to hear today?

The thing is, let's see if Windows is the problem here? Go to Google and search for : "linux live cd".
Download any one of them! You'll end up with an .ISO file that you can burn on a CD or USB drive (might be useful later too!)
Boot this linux Live-CD, and you should have a basic desktop with icons. You DON'T need to format your drive and delete/install anything.
Internet should be working right away, if you're using a wired connection. Open a browser and try to access the same websites mentioned earlier.
You will be booting this live-cd in RAM. Just enough for your testing! You will then be able to discover where the problem comes from.

If it's Windows, oh well................... :p
