The best thing to do is to contact Google via the Webmaster Forums and let them know what your SEO Score is.

If it's good, they'll manually tweak the algorithm for that search, and you'll go to page 1 quickly.

This is why SEO has become a hard game to play these days. Spilling information out in the open like this will not only saturate, but kill these working methods. I remeber the days when there was an arrow up button next to your site in the rankings and with every click it moved your site up a position. After SEOs started sharing this method with everybody that button was quickly removed by G.

Why not file a reconsideration request and have Google take a look at your site. When they see how great your backlinks are, maybe they'll put it on page one.

Keep in mind you may be competing against a website that has cloaked links you may not be able to see.

That is probably the case in your situation.

Indeed, those were the good old days. Bing still has the up-button, but nobody searches Bing, so using that feature is somewhat a waste of time anyway.

Not to forget, "remove this site" option in google, where you simply click that button and that site gets removed instantly from google so you can remove all your competitors and quickly rise to no.1

They started manually filtering most removal requests about 4 months ago... it's quite hard now to have a site removed

You have to make sure that you are using google.com and not co.uk or anything like that for it to show up!

I also found inconsistencies with different operating systems, funnily enough... depending on the useragent that my computer was sending, would determine what Google was showing me.
Eg; on my Macbook, I would see the 'Remove this site' button for every search, all the time, but using my desktop (Windows XP) I never see it, even though they're both connecting from the same IP address...

It's another one of those wonderful intricacies that is the Google beast!

That's because XP is no longer supported. Try Windows 8.xx, it even has a "Penalize this Site" button (just make sure you don't press it when you're on your own site).

I actually created a auto-bot to automate this, I wasn't sure whether to talk about it here but BlackHatWorld has given me so much, so I thought I would give back.

Basically it rotates ip addresses and fakes user agents too, then I click the 'remove site button' and because Google gets it from 10 different IP addresses, I guess they assume something must be wrong with the site. I will say though, make sure you space your complaints out to make it look natural.

If the bot is still being effective, all I can say is - caring is sharing :) any plans to sell it, or give it away? Perhaps in the spirit of a good new year?

I'm in for a copy if you do decide to offer it - whether free or paid!

I will give you the simple answer, because their site is better than yours, I am guessing older too.

Well I may keep to to myself for a bit because it's so damn effective. Seriously, I've taken down some big sites like this, right now I'm targeting this news site bbc.co.uk (not sure if you're familiar with it). They outrank me on a huge niche that I'm going after and I'd say within about 2 weeks I'll get them taken down and be in the top spot.

If enough people want review copies though, I may release a few.
