Use proxies of specific cities where you want to rank your site. Then, create accounts on social media sites by using the proxies and then, promote them on social media sites by posting them on different pages and groups. I hope this method will work for you.

Despite what you guys and probably what most of the folks on the internet say, duplicate content does work for city landing pages.

I am experiencing this first hand and it is becoming extremely frustrating. Can you please share the site as an example?

I'm facing this issue with "hotelfurniture.co.in" a hospitality furniture supplier who is our direct competitor in the US.

One look at their website & you know its shit but they continue to rank in the target locations. Mumbai, Chandigarh, Kolkata etc.

Can someone pls help w this?

Everyone that says this can't work, I would like to know based on what evidence? If you look around the web you can can see many examples of this working, MANY!! I agree that I would add some unique content specific about that city and maybe some different images, try to make it as unique as you can but saying that you need to rewrite the content for every single city is not true, at least not yet, and hasn't been true since I've been doing SEO.

For best practice, then yes make unique content for every page to prevent possible issues in the future, but im just saying that this method works and it works very well as of right now.
