My client is famous. Advice please....

You should get back on the phone to him and tell him that you can't do it for $300 one time. Tell him the job is much more complex than you first thought and charge $600+ a month if you believe you can do the work. Otherwise just refund the money.

Don't try to be my lawyer.

You do not take money for a job you are not competitive in, try to be reasonable. Put yourself in his shoes, help him out where you can and be honest with him. Instead of just begging for more money when you do not have an idea to start with. Eventually, your reputation will get ruined if you depend on handling your clients like this in the long run.

Be sure of eating what you serve on your plate.

Good luck.

sickens me to think you actually accepted money to perform a service you know NOTHING about...

Refund his money ASAP.

I have another new client today with big problems related to YT.
His name is Anastasios Dragseth. What are your thoughts?

Hold on are you damaging peoples reputation then trying to sign them up for ORM?
Looks f#cking suspicious to me as those negative results are less than a month old.

What ORM specialist names his client on a BH forum?
If you are genuine then you are going to cause more damage as you don't have a clue.

EDIT: Pretty sure this is OP's FAKE YT account:

LOL this thread was quite entertaining to read.

I have no problem with ppl trying to make money, but the IM world has definitely full of these type of examples in which ppl claim to be experts, take money, and deliver zero results.

This is why legit business owners have a hard time trusting digital marketers...because of stuff like this.

Low entries to barrier and self-proclaimed expertise is what gives the industry a bad rep :P

This place gets worse by the day.. this is why I rarely post in threads besides my own. Idiots like you OP give the whole industry a bad name. You should be banned right away before you scam someone here next.

Someone should also let your "client" know what you are doing.

Fuck me what the hell is going on around here.. the mind boggles.

My client lives in a small rural community and works in the baby and wedding photography field. He recently had some bad reviews posted about him on YouTube. Sure enough, the YT posts are 3 and 4 on search results. He has a unique name too. I don't know what to do. He has paid me $300 to get the 2 YT posts off page 1.

What can I do for my client please? Thank you.

First client a photographer:

Too much of a coincidence. I think OP is using the aliases of Ruth Pearlman and John Smith to drum up his own business by destroying peoples reputation.

Assholes. It is pieces of shit like them that I wish natural selection would pick off more frequently. Worthless fucking humans.

I sent them both links to this thread. People like OP give actual reputation managers a bad rap and a penchant for being referred to as scammers. No thanks.

Wow, earlier today it looked like ripoffreport was going to be gone, and now I have read about these dirtbags too. I hope all this gets sorted out.

Yep, scum everywhere.
Asshats like this can't make any real money so try to extort it from legitimate businesses.
