Listen to this. Years ago my brothers friend wouldn't shut up about this product he invented. And at the time me and my brother would make fun of him behind is back. Even though we saw potential behind it, we NEVER once thought that this stupid piece of plastic would blow up as big as it has. And it goes to show, that all you really need to do sometimes is TAKE ACTION. Me and my bro have talked all of our lives about inventing various different products. But not once have we ever tried importing plastic molds from China or making any of these ideas a reality. But my brothers friend (his name is John) took action from day one. You want to know what his invention is? Its a plastic cover that snaps over wet paint brushes. THATS IT. Its called a "paint brush cover". I remember years ago, saying something like "I don't think people will buy it, all you have to do is wrap the brush in a plastic bag and throw in in your freezer". But I guess I was wrong. All you do is snap the cover on, it stops paint from leaking, and it holds in moisture so the brush never dries out. That way if you need to reuse the brush, or don't want to clean it, you just snap these covers on all your brushes. I thought this idea was "too simple" to get any attention. But man was I wrong. A year or 2 ago, when I heard that John managed to get this product on the shelves of *Home Depot* I nearly shat my pants. Then when I found out he was going on Shark Tank, again, I almost had a heart attack. I was jealous as hell. I tried to find out exactly how much money he's making, and how his Shark Tank pitch went, but John said he's not allowed to talk about the show, and to just watch it tonight on Shark Tank. He also invited us to a bar where he'll be celebrating, but I'm too tired to go so I'll just watch it from home. What really blows my mind.... I just can't get over how SIMPLE this idea is. Theres no fancy engineering involved, no fancy anything. Its just a piece of PLASTIC. All it does is SNAP over paintbrushes. And for all I know this guy is gonna be a millionaire now. Why? Because he believed in an idea. Thats it. He believed in 1 idea enough to make it a reality. And I still can't understand how anyone could be so passionate about paint brush covers. But I can't wait to see what the Sharks have to say. Because Home Depot bought into it, and if I find out this guy got a deal with one of the Sharks and isn't telling us, I'm going to be one angry mofo tonight. One jealous, bitter, regretful SOB. Let this be a message to all of you. Snooze and you WILL lose. Take action... and who knows where the hell you'll wind up?
