My bot is sending decaptcher the wrong image..why?

    Hoping someone has had this problem. I am beginner-intermediate with VB.net and I just got decaptcher to work in my bot. However, it seems to be sending the wrong image for some reason. I think it has to do with cookies.

    I am downloading a registration page, using RegEx to get a recaptcha link, then requesting that recaptcha link which is a simple text page with another string I extract with Regex to finally get my image link to send to Decaptcher, and submitting the POST request with their response.

    Can someone please help me?? I doubt I am going to find my answer on google without some serious searching. Most programmers don't deal with decaptcher so they won't be able to help me :(

    First are you using a browser for your bot, meaning are you getting the captcha image from the html source code from the browser.

    Second are you solving Recaptcha captchas.

    I am using httpwebrequest/httpwebresponse.

    And yeah, the page I am trying to make a bot for uses Recaptcha.

    I found the answer to my question. A mod can delete this thread if they want to :)

    No point in deleting the thread, as people do read these when they get stuck.

    I have found that if you view the image initially(on a page), it'll display. But then if you try to view the same image again, it'll be a generic picture.

    So, the goal is to "download" the image before anything else does, and then send that one off to your decaptcher service.

    Using a downloadstring("pageurl") would be simple, you then simply regex the image url. then download it to the client pc, and send it off.
