Is this normal? My site is about 10 days old and this is the first time I have messed with SEO, i did my linkwheel, then did some bookmarking, and some domain submissions.

Well now cubstats is #1 showing my site info, then my hubpage article and then Digg...

Does this mean it is only a matter of time before I am #1 or did I do something wrong?

    2nd issue:

I did not plan this but am currently ranked 59 out of 11.5 million for a keyword phrase I didn't plan on promoting. Adwords tool says there is no data available for the 3 word phrase. should I still try to get #1 or just let it take its course?

Initially the article directories and bookmarking sites will rank better because of their authority. Your site is just 10 days old.
If you keep building links to your site, eventually your site will rank better.

That is pretty normal. Keep building quality links to your website, add a little patience, then your website will start ranking higher than those authority websites.

You should build some backlinks to your hubs and other articles to keep them ranking high and funneling traffic to your main site. The more SERP listings you own on the 1st page, the less room there is for competing sites.

Why do you want to spend your time and efforts to get #1 for a keyword that gets almost no traffic? Remember google keyword shows monthly traffic. If it doesn't have enough data to show, then probably the keyword is not worth.

However just cross check your keyword with Wordtracker and Keyworddiscovery keyword tools.

So if I leave everything as is, build no more links then I will stay below my articles and bookmarsks, or is it just a matter of time before I overtake them?

Thank you for the advice so far, since this is my first rodeo I am having trouble deciding what action to take.
