    It's nice to meet you,
    Before hand I want to point out that I am as my account indicates, a newbie at Internet Marketing.

    Now, I am having trouble getting my blogger blog indexed. Am I correct in thinking that a site being indexed means that the site is shown in the search engine results? I have made countless, specifically about 3k-4k backlinks to my blog. I have also made high quality backlinks from sites such as StumbleUpon, HubPages, and EzineArticles. I have 11 Original and high quality article posts on my site as well.

    I have searched my url on Google and I don't get my site meaning that it hasn't been indexed.

    Nevertheless I have gotten traffic from hubpages, StumbleUpon, and Technorati.

    What are your thoughts on this?

    Thank you before hand

    Yes. But I sure you that I didn't do the majority of it manually nor did I pay for it. For the majority of the backlinks I used those sites that give you backlinks.

    Specifically I used: Freebacklinktool;Freewebdirectory;createbacklinks;IMT website submitter; Index Kings; Ping Farm;

    In addition I did manual article and site submissions and to sites like HubPages( Majority of my high quality backlink traffic) , Technoreti, LifeHacker, and EzineArticles. I also placed very well written and appropriate comments on posts on these sites, with a particular focus on LifeHacker.

    ok, well those free link things will not help ranking.. they may even penalize your site, although if its a blogger site, you should be ok. My advice is take it easy with link (especially crappy link) building. Focus more on quality, even if it takes longer and you will not have as many links.. it will be better for your rankings.

    How are you determining whether or not your blogger has been indexed? Are you searching for site:blogname.blogspot.com in google?

    yes that's what I'm doing. I go to Google and search: blogname.blogspot.com

    Also as an update, I submitted my site to several site directories since. I am getting the sites that are backlinking to my site in the search results but my site is still no where to be seen. I just have to wait.

    You need to write site: in front of your search query. site:blogname.blogspot.com is the exact format which you should be using. If your blog then shows up in the search then you'll know that you've been indexed.
