My site has tags for certain posts; these tags are showing up for strong keywords higher than my actual pages? Is this normal? For example

    thedropshipblog.co.uk/tag/esources-reviews

    instead of

    thedropshipblog.co.uk/esources-co-uk-review

I find this a little odd, because how do I push link juice to a tag page or link build it?

Please suggest can I build links for tags pages also.

    :)

My first question is, how old is the site/content you are referring to? This happens often on young WordPresses and works itself out slowly.

This isn't really a question about cloaking...

That aside, you need to work on the internal link structure of your website. If you don't want your tag pages to rank above your main content pages you need to reflow your link juice.

    Don't forget about internal linking.

Yes you can build links to tag pages as long as the content isn't duplicate, that requires extra work however. If they're duplicate pages, you're better off no-indexing them
Google for wordpress seo and check the second result. That's a decent guide for wordpress seo

While you can deindex tags, it isn't something I would do since they should pass link juice to posts. This would often be sorted by itself and Google recognize and positinion posts higher than tags. Other way, you can build more internal links from your other posts to the targeted post (or even externall links). This should suggest Google the importance of your page.
