    Hello,

My blog is hacked and is redirected to http://comedyqueue.com/
I am clueless on what to do?
How should I proceed, the domain is in my account and is pointed to my hosting servers.
I am using cclassiphosting service to host my blog at the moment and I don't understand how its redirected to the site given above
How to recover my blog files etc?

    Please suggest me

    Regards

Get inside your server and delete the file that is causing it. The hacker put a file there to redirect your visitors. You gotta delete it.

Surely an email to cclassiphosting will solve this? They're the only ones that will be able to tell you how your site was compromised/restore from backups.. etc.. etc..

Once you do get your site back, i'd move hosts and do a fresh install of whatever platform your blog was on.

And for the future, always make sure to backup your database (if you have CMS based website) once in a while, as well as all the files.

Don't forget to change your password to something a lot hard.

A good hosting company will have tight security to stop hackers access your site's files. Better change your hosts after getting the site back.

    1. if you are using wordpress then update to newer version
    2. Most probably .htaccess and index.php infected. So check that
    3. Always use correct file permission of files.
    4. Use security plugin.

Contact your hosting service. They will help you.

And for revenge, buy very cheap garbage traffic and send it to the hacker site. I am sure his servers will melt.

    Back up the wp-config.php file
    Back up the wp-content folder
Use DB-backup plugin to back up your SQL database
    Back up any theme settings

Have those and you can easily restore your website to how it was.

Also use login lockdown plugin for extra security.

If you have made your blog through some e-mail id you can change the password of that E-mail ID, then automatically the blog will come to yours. Otherwise you can also contact the hosting support for further help.

If it's a WP go inside the ftp or through your host panel and delete all the files. the hacker injected one of the files.. probably cheap .php redirect code

If you know php, you can manually check each file for the redirect function or other *infections*

Otherwise backup all your files and reinstall the blog, without using any untrusted plugins or themes.

There is probably something in your .htaccess file that is messing it up. Usually a simple redirect that can be fixed. Contact your host.
