My Bing Ads account got hacked! Help needed

My Bing Ads account got hacked and used to run the campaigns for about 700 EUR (~800 USD). Money got withdrawn from my bank account already.

I contacted the Bing support and they replied to me that they conducted the investigation and that hey haven't spotted any unauthorized activity on my account and they cannot process with the refund.

I am shocked.

And I seek for you advice. Is there anything I can do here to get my money back?

The thing is that before this happened I haven't used the ads account since 2018... and they haven't spotted the unusual activity.

I was thinking to contact the bank and explain that my card details got stolen. But the problem is that the money got withdrawn from my own Bing Ads account. So I'm not sure if it will work.

Any advice is welcome guys. Please help me get my money back.

First Contact with the bank. and freeze your payment.and then contact with bing. If they don't take any action. File a case against the campaign .
 
nothing much you can do. most of time domain/hosting registered with fake details. And campaigns are cloaked so you can't get real culprit.

What do you mean file a case against the campaign? Like hire a lawyer and go to the court?

Hello, First, contact your bank and freeze all actions. Second, go to the police and then Bing will start something to do. Bing is now thinking that You are a 13 years old scammer who spent 800$ and now don't want to pay. I think that's not the first incident like this, bank and police will know better what to do. And do it as fast as you can. Bank will freeze this payment(action). They will be more competent than us. I wish best for You.

Apparently it all got sorted. After I received a "fuck off" email from Bing, I emailed them back with all the possible details etc. They said they would escalate and look into that better. After that there were more attempts to log in to my account by the hackers and bing support rep even told me that one of them was successful and they started campaign again!! Imagine that lol

Anyway, they emailed me today and said that they will refund the full amount. Happy times.

P.S. While they were investigating I also spoke to the bank and the bank said to ask Bing first. And in case Bing doesn't reply and doesn't refund, then the bank would process the refund on their end. So that was cool.

They did another review apparently a proper one and refunded the full amount. They also proposed to close my account because of the continuous hacker attacks.

In the end it all ended well. I got my money back in full and asked to delete my account.

P.S. I use mac and I was one of those stupid people who believed that mac OS doesn't need an antivirus. After this hacker attack I downloaded an antivirus, did a full scan and found a few malware including a trojan that came with one of the software downloads. I guess it could have been the seed to all these problems.
