    HI All,

I'm a reformed WhiteHat a-hole. I've been reading a lot and learning as much as I can before I make the leap to BH. Specifically before I invest hundreds or thousands of dollars in the software I need to make it work I need your help. I just want to make sure I'm getting the right stuff and your experience outweighs book-learning.

I'm paid by my client monthly whether I produce leads or not. My client is a personal friend and understands I'm working my butt off to make the leads come in.

This is what I use to do for lead generation, (my OLD way):
    1. Buy an aged, expiring domain.
    2. Make a super SEO'd site with all the right elements but not too much.
    3. Write articles and post them wherever it made sense to do so.
    4. Grow the site slowly, (a couple pages a day).
    5. Hand-post comments on blogs, forums, and other sites, (never spammed anything...all my comments were on topic and a true response)
    4. etc...(basically it was mostly a WhiteHat approach since I was holier than most and all that crap)

The above method takes a long time and while it won't get your site banned it won't make you much money, either.

This is what I'm planning now, (my NEW way):
    1. buy several aged domains and reg them private
    2. use either DoorwayPageGeneratorPro or Fantomas Shadowmaker to make a crap-load of pages for each site.
    3. use XRumer or PageSubmitterPro to build links to those pages, (maybe both?).
    4. Lather, rinse, repeat
    5. Get leads...lots and lots of leads.

    What has NOT worked:
    1. buying leads from lead aggregators, (they're too expensive to achieve ROI and about 25% are crap anyway).
    2. PPC. The traffic is too expensive and there's too much click-fraud. Leads were costing me about $50 a pop...good leads, I mean.
    3. Shocking the salespeople with a cattle prod, (it makes them angry or sad but not productive).

    What HAS worked:
SEO leads work. We get some crap but it doesn't cost us anything. However, it does take a lot of time for a small return. I need to shorten the time it takes and reduce the effort.

I know there is more information and some learning I still need to do after I buy any of the software I mentioned above; but that's a given for any software.

But, (here are the questions), is there anything I am really missing? If an experienced BH had the tools I mentioned would it be enough?

Also, what do you recommend, (DPGP or Fantomas Shadowmaker; XRumer or ProSubmitter)?

I know if I go less expensive it's DPGP and ProSubmitter...but I don't really care about price; I care about effectiveness and learning curve, (in that order).

I've learned that you get what you pay for; a much higher price indicates a greater effectiveness but I've also learned there are exceptions to the rule.

I hope I'm not comparing apples to oranges here so if I am please straighten me out.

So, here's a summary of my questions that I hope you can help me with:
    1. Which is more effective: DoorwayPageGeneratorPro or Fantomas Shadowmaker?
    2. Which is more effective: ProSubmitter or XRumer?
    3. What is easier to learn and use: DoorwayPageGeneratorPro or Fantomas Shadowmaker? By how much is it easier, a little, a lot?
    4. Is there other software I have overlooked but is just as powerful?
    5. Is my plan solid or am I missing something?

Thanks in advance for your help. Learning enough to get to this point where I'm ready to buy has been like drinking from a fire-hose; there's a lot of information and it comes out fast almost to the point where it's info-overload.

    Thanks again,

    JD
