    Hello

I am backlinking to my site from my home pc in India. My money site is however targeted for the U.S. market. Will these backlinks still count or will they be ignored as coming from another country.

I had used some U.S. proxies before but they quickly get banned by Akismet for some reason. I can however post in those same blogs with an Indian IP.

Am I wasting my time with these backlinks or should I keep going.

Backlink is a backlink, never worry about IP. It still has value.

Go for it. I try to get as many backlinks from as many different IP's as I can.
