Hello bhw :) Recently, i have found a website called "cashforgamers". I saw an opportunity as soon as I saw what they are about. You can send them used videogames and they will pay you for them. They pay with paypal and check.

Theres a little pawn shop close to my house, they have a big section with used video games and they are all sold for 5$, none more or less. I saw games at the pawn shop for 5$ that can be sold to cashforgamers for 10$++ :D Ive seen even cheaper games selling on amazon, i could easily order some to then sell them on cashforgamers. This website got many ideas running in my head. They give you free shipping supplies if you sent them atleast 50$ worth of games. Which is cool..

BUT, i have no idea if they are legit or not. They are not the most known website and i'm scared of being scammed. I'm just gonna send a crappy psp game today or tomorrow and see if they'll pay to test them. I don't really care if they steal the game, i lost my psp so it's not a big deal. I'm gonna see if this is legit. If they're a scam, the internet needs to know. I will keep you guys updated about this.

~I'm sorry if i posted this in the wrong place, i have no idea where this should be.

Always a bit risky sending stuff out and waiting for a check/paypal credit. Only way to see if they're legit, like you said, is to test it out. If everything's all above board, then it could turn out to be a profitable little endeavor. Taking a quick look at the site, it appears legit - they have physical address, terms, privacy policy and it looks like they've been around a while (5yr old domain). Give it a try. Best of luck :)

These websites that buy your used games normally pay a fraction of what it's worth! Like any pawn shop, they have to make a profit out of your stuff later on... So I dunno why they would offer "much"?

You could make a few bucks off of this, if they pay out that is. The problem I see is that your local pawn shop will eventually run out of games that are profitable for you. Best of luck to you though.

You reminded me, that I should go to local thrift shop to see if they have anything valuable so I can resell it at profit :p.

I did once something similar and had occasion as well. I bought a game at big electrical store for something around 5 pounds and sold it for 10 to game store. Other time there was this promotion from game store that for every game you will receive one extra pound and value of the game, you won't believe how many people were there, in theory I had to buy sport games from their competitor (both of them were selling between .10 - .90) and sell them losing around a half of game value (which is low) but gaining a pound.

As always sorry for my poor grammar :bootyshak
