my antivirus just deleted chrome from my computer lol

I installed Avira to test it out for a bit and it said that chrome had a trojan in it and I'm like alright delete that shit, thinking it would remove the trojan only.

So I restart my computer, log in and see that chrome is no longer installed on my system DDD

Any similar stories? Should I be worried?

my family uses it so I have to stop them from trying to win a million bucks by opening this one email

The virus could have injected something to your chrome executable. Normally, this won't ever happen ( try uploading chrome exe to virus total and see what happens). Or.. you could just use Linux

I have a copy of Window Creator Enterprise in which I have disabled all the spyware and anything not directly needed to operate the OS. I updated IE explorer. It disabled FireFox and attempted to reactivate Edge (which is kinda hard when there are no binaries. Had to reinstall Firefox.
