I just got an email from my affiliate manager at max bounty. It looked a lot more personal than they usually do. I'll quote a little section of it...

Im still a novice at CPA, is she giving me the green light to promote this on CL, or should I be cautious?

Edit: Yes thats a smiley face in the letter, thats no typo..

Ask her and make sure that you'll be paid for advertising it on CL. Make sure you send it to the same email address and the address is from Maxbounty. This is probably a green light for this ONE particular offer, don't make the mistake of thinking that you can promote other offers on CL as well. Make sure you ask before you proceed, because you don't want to get ban and worse not getting pay for all you effort.

Using craigslist is always great idea, even though your AM gave you a green light, I would still cover my track because you never know when they change your mind and ban you with 10k in your account. Othervise these are pretty cool news.

WTF?? I'd get some super huge clarification on this brother. What type of offer was it? Is she suggesting using CL for email or to directly promote the offer on CL or what? This sounds pretty odd. And I have a feeling I know who the am is also which makes it even more interesting.

She was talking about one specific offer, and it makes sense. I just assumed CL was strictly forbid at CPA networks and was very shocked to get this letter. I wrote her a follow up email to double check.

Anyone else have this experience happen to them?

no she did not mean that lol. I got the same email. I thought the same thing as you at first and I was like wtf. Read what the actual offer is. It's an offer that teaches buyers how to sell on craigslist.

If she recommended you to role with CL do it! Seriously you have permission of your AM you can make some serious cash and don't need to worry about the ban hammer! Just make sure you don't trick users but just post like crazy!

I think they mean to tell your customers that Craiglist is free to advertise on.

It is obvious that she is not telling you to promote it on CL but on your own site/blog. She is telling you to make sure you emphasize that promoting on CL is free in order for the offer to look even more appealing to the people that you pitching this to. As simple as that.

Why don't you take it offline and ask your AM over the phone?

I would save the email and go for it. If they try to screw you, you at least have something to show them.

Whether that was the green light to promote on CL or not, you just outed yourself. Now she knows who you are in this forum. If I were you I would stay on the downlow and not talk about doing BH stuff from now on. You just gave yourself away.

looks like a misunderstanding from the OP and AM, i agree that shes saying use that as a sale benefit, not to spam on cl,

NO...this is NOT a green light to post on CL. She is saying you should make a "CraigsList - List For Money - Free Trial $28/sale" type blog and emphasizing to your READERS the fact that listing on CL is free...so you can better entice them to complete the offer.

ok i made a misstake and feel sad and dumb i admit...

did what i thought others were doing
promoting cpaoffers from cj.com to craigslist.org email reciepients...
and got banned to cj forever...feels tooobad but didnt know any better before...

isnt anyone doing this or is there a better way?

how not to get discovered through my affiliatelink in my email?
    i used shorturl url
buy new domainname private and do redirect through that url perhaps? or will craigslist just go to the one i bought my dpomainname from anyeway and threat them to give them my id?

any chance getting back on cj in some other way??

    help
