My agency has averaged $1,500+ per month, how much is it worth?

Started a side hustle agency and it brings in around $1,500 a month on average with very little work. The costs involved are just domain, hosting and live chat plugins to respond to leads for the most part.

Do agencies have the same valuation as affiliate sites? The site is 10 months old, and stable with only organic traffic. Most people say 12x - 30x valuations.

What would this site be worth?

One thing is important when it comes to this. Is the agency something that is heavily depended on you and your skillset or almost anybody can replicate it?

If it can be done I think a good thing should be a X years revenue projection to valuate it.

You will need to provide more information such as years in business, last 12 months of sales broken down by month, your gross profit, and your net profit at the very least so that people can respond in a manner that is actually helpful.

Great point.

Site age: 10 months: (May 2023)

For the earnings, the site has averaged $1,500 from May 2023 to April 2024. The last 3 months has been $800 per month due to less time being spent on the site and marketing it. The earnings are also all from card payments on Stripe which brings that total but doesn't include miscellaneous earnings such as Crypto, PayPal and Bank transfers where I've collected an additional $4,000+ in sales over the year so maybe that takes the monthly average a little higher.

The site operates on a 80% profit margin, only costs involved are live chat plugins which I pay $25 a month for and ChatGPT which is $25 a month too as well as the typical hosting costs.

It's not a super skilled agency where you need it yourself, I outsource it to someone who does it for me and I pay them a fixed fee depending on the service

So basically cheating at school, which is black hat for schools. I think it has some potential as gpt-5 is gonna be true.

Your chances of selling that "agency" are slim.

I think EmpireFlippers has a minimum $3000 monthly profit now on a yearly basis before they even consider listing you.

And nobody is paying you x30 on Flippa for this site as all the revenue on these agency sites can be faked more easily than with affiliate or e-commerce sites so you need 12 months of solid data.

If I was you I would try to push that as much as possible to meet EmpireFlippers criteria and list the site there if you want serious money and a solid buyer.

30 times monthly revenue is a good price. But you need to have a track record too. So running at that rate for a year for example. And in an agency model, contracts will factor in.

Any other sites like EmpireFlippers where some newest earning low prices business available

Would a sale price of $15,000 be decent for this sort of website given it's a year old and makes $1,000+ a month? The only issue I see is the niche of the agency as it's not a typical digital marketing agency

Nobody in their right business mind would think that is an acceptable deal as a buyer.

A year is nothing, 1K a month is not bad but certainly not worth 15K.

@INCC gave you good advice, I'd follow that.

What percentage of your customers are returning customers?
How many returning customers are there atm?
What is the average order value?
What percentage of the order cost will go to the outsourcing team?
Is this a seasonal business? I assume it is not a seasonal business, but during school/college holidays, the orders will be almost zero or will drop significantly.

Bro are u serious? In any T1 country this pay maybe a coworking desk and an accountant.

The question really comes down to whether you can actually sell the business and have it operate without you... or whether you are the business.

First case, varies based on a lot of factors. But in the online sphere, I would say that it is worth at least a few years of your revenue.

Second case, it's worth nothing. We're not buying you, are we?
