Hi, I'm an affiliate for a website and they sent an email to my domain's private registration account saying that they want to buy my domain.

They don't know that I am one of their affiliates and I own this domain.

I'd like to sell this domain to them without them finding out that I'm an affiliate of theirs.

What is the best way to make this transaction happen while keeping my info private from them? Should I hire a domain broker or set up another company name and bank account, or something else?

    thanks

Open a new domain account under a friend's name, transfer the domain to him/her. Get a new e-identity and communicate with them directly.
They don't have to know your real details for buying a domain.

sagarpatil: thanks for the info, I never sold a domain directly before, except on flippa, I'll have to read up on the process of doing it.

binaryking: not sure, I haven't replied yet.

How can they not know this? Are you collecting leads on your own back end?

Why? Will it devalue the domain? It is possible it might increase the value if they know you produce quality visitors for them.

Right now you need to contact Meathead1234 and ask for his advice and help.

This does not happen, hardly ever. That domain is worth more than you know in all probability.
