Good luck on your journey!
I have decided on the niche and sub-niches I will target for this project, they fit well with Adsence, CPA and Amazon while having a handful of products on Clickbank that are related and have decent sales pages.
I spent the majority of my free time finding keywords, I currently have 180 primary keywords with CPC's ranging from $0.50 to $6.50 with 1000 or more monthly searches. The majority of these keywords have secondary target words included with them along with a handful of long tails.
I have purchased articles from five content vendors here on blackhatworld who have decent feed back, I will screen the content and compare it upon receipt before deciding on my final content provider.
While at work earlier I researched both successful and popular GSA SER methods, I spotted a trend and have penned down my own method by taking what seems to be the best parts of each method while adding a little twist from a theory I came up with.
so whats your plan to rank your site?
I plan to use high quality content, full on page SEO, relivant manually posted links on social media/forums, manually created web 2.0's, automated uploaded videos, automated link building with GSA and automated link building with SER Engines.
I didn't have much free time yesterday so I could only do a little more keyword research, I now have 240 primary keywords to work with.
I also researched GSA SER more and I am beginning to understand how to use it efficiently.
Again, not much free time. I have received all my test articles from the content writers here on BHW. I wont name the ones that didn't make the cut but I feel Natasha Nixon has the best content for a fair price so I will request a few more test articles before putting in a bulk order.
Good luck on your journey,
Just don't lose the hope and you will be banking hard.
I have had a fair bit spare time today so spent it doing more keyword research. I now have 380 primary keywords, I also found a keyword with 4400 monthly searches $32 CPC and no competition . I have completed the keyword research for four of my sub niches and I am half way through the fifth.
Once keyword research has been complete I will organised all of the data in one single table and workout what articles I want to launch with. I am not planning to have content ranging from 500 words to 1200 words instead of having all articles the same length as it looks suspicious.
Wow, you have come pretty far in these four days. I am sure you can produce something great. Remember that in the modern internet world, quality is king. People will share and stuff, but only if your pages and articles are worth it.
Hope to see your journey a success OP. Your progress is going pretty well!
Today I finished the keyword research for my initial project niche but I decided to change the niche as I feel the first one is to big for my first site, I will keep the keyword data for my second or third project.
I have now found a new niche with around 150 primary keywords, I have spent the rest of the day bulking out around 40 of those with secondary keywords and checking their SEO competition.
I have completed the keyword research for the project I plan to launch first. I have ......
~73 Primary Keywords
~300 Secondary keywords
All in all I think I spent around 8 hours on keyword research for this project, not to mention it will cost $1000 for the content so I hope it pays off!
Tonight or tomorrow I will split the keywords down into their sub niches and categories to make it easier when I build the blog. I will also make relivent Article titles to give me writers ideas of how to build the article out.
Today I have finished formatting the post titles I require along with the word count of the articles I want. I have emailed it to my content supplier for approval. In total I have requested 71 articles for my main site and 11 articles for grey hat SEO link building.
I have also downloaded the free trial of buzzbundle to see how it will be able to help me promote my blog, so far it looks good.
I have also finished reading the copy writing book I purchased and have just bought another one. I have gained so much knowledge from that book that I have completely changed my post titles due to the knowledge I have gained.
I also researched various techniques to legally increase my Adsence CTR and I plan to implement them over time if the pass a basic split testing procedure I have set out.
I have placed my order for my initial content and paid for it, just waiting for a delivary date now. I have purchased a domain, installed wordpress/plugins/theme.
I have been trying to get on Fiverr to purchase a logo but it doesnt seem to want to load today for some reason.
I am on night shift tonight so I plan to research white hat SEO methods if there is not much on. If I think it is doable and practical I may hire a virtual assistant to do manual link building for me instead of purchasing GSA and the blackhat methods.
I have been testing different themes out today and decided not to use my premium theme for this project. I have found a free one that I feel fits better and if my plan works and I end up expanding my niches with additional sites then it will be easier and cheaper if I can use the same free theme on them all.
I have ordered a logo off Fiverr to use on my site, I chose a gig that will provide me with three different logos so I will choose the best one and then purchase another gig asking him to make facebook/twitter covers with it too.
I have posted a random article to my blog of around 800 words to allow me to play around with the layout of the blog and where Ad Injection will place ads, after about 2 hours I am extremely happy with the end result, if I am able to get decent traffic to the blog I will of course split test the positions but in theory the location of the ads right now make the most sense. I even had to go off and learn a few bits of HTML today to get things exactly how I want them so with any luck it will pay off.
I have also downloaded SEO Powersuit's free version but I havent had a chance to install it yet. I received confirmation that my content order has been accepted and will take around two weeks to complete but I have requested I get batches of 10 articles as they are completed to allow me to populate the blog with content.
Finally I have researched the advantages of White hat, Black hat and Grey hat SEO. I think I will probably go with Grey hat, manually posted T1 with an automated T2/T3/T4 where required as my competators have between 0-50 back links so it will look fake if I have a page with hundreds or even thousands of back links pointing to my site.
I have been hungover in bed most of the day so I focused on finding new niches for new web sites after this one.
I put a little bit of time into my site design but im at a stage now where I cant move forward until I actually get content so I will just perform keyword research for new keywords/future niches until my first content delivery on Monday.
More keyword research today for new niches. I have found a few potential niches I want to investigate more. With any luck my first set of content for my first project will arrive tomorrow so I can move forward with that project.
GOod luck!! I wonder how it turns out!
I have been ill today so haven't been able to do much I have done a little bit keyword research but that's about it. Unfortunately none of my content has been delivered yet but I dont have the energy to format it anyway.
I have researched a few new link building tactics today and am trying to develop a plan for a hybrid high PR web 2.0 network.
