Hey everyone! This is my 500th post here at BHW. I don't have any extra methods lying around to share so I figured I would just do a simple write up on some basic skills you need to succeed in IM. First things first though, I need to give a BIG BHW thank you! They have been by my side almost since the beginning of my IM career and have helped me tremendously. A special shout out to apekillape as he is currently working by my side and has helped me out a lot this month with a few things.
1. Be polite!
There is nothing more annoying than working with someone who is hard or doesn't appreciate your side of the work. Weather you are working together, you are selling a service, or buying a service, just be polite. It really is not that hard/ Please and thank you can go a long way in this game which brings us to our next point.
2. Make contacts
With a few exceptions, all of the money I have made in my IM career started with methods given to be form contacts I have. Not only will you make good contacts who will help you along the way, but once in a while you're going to want some people that know what IM is to discuss strategies or just talk to about something.
3. STOP reading
Reading is good when you're brand new, but once you know the basics you need to get started. As the saying goes, an ounce of action is worth a ton of theory. It's very true. If I never kicked my ass in gear and but some hosting I would be way behind form where I am today. Do yourself a favour right now, and if you do not have hosting, go buy it. It's only about $5/month so anybody can afford it.
4. Use your time wisely
You may thing IM is going to be an easy job. News flash: It's not. It takes a lot of work and a lot of time. Most people (myself included), want to work only a few hours a day, but the fact is, you need to work to get there. In fact, you need to work more than a full time job if you want to get that far. If you are sitting around wondering what to do with your spare time, build backlinks or post on forums and drive some traffic to your site.
Well that's all for this instalment! I have covered a lot of other material in another thread here in case somebody missed it:
Don't give up and don't forget to
