the time series of my monthly income:
    http://s13.postimg.org/i82gabndj/income.jpg

at the very lowest point, i made less than $5 a day. the cheapest foot-long subway is $5.30.

i have been reading BHW for about 5 years. this is what i think now.
copying success stories, step by step did not work for me. perhaps i was not persistent enough. my turning point was when i started digging into tumblr, and found my own way.

even fiverr has not done much for me. i have to say that fiverr did carry me through the toughest time.

Interesting journey you got there. If you don't mind me asking, what country did this all happen in? And how are you doing with things currently?

Seems like a crazy 2 years for you, I can't say I've made anywhere near an amount so I could live on my purely online earnings but I do enjoy having the extra money that I earn online plus my actual full time job.

i think keeping the motivation of making money is hard. after all, i still think making money is not much to talk about. when people ask me what i do, i always have hard time answering because i am not really doing anything other than trying to make money.

i could have started this when i was doing ebay during which i practically was doing nothing. now i know that yt+CB will work. after i procrastinated for 5 months, i finally made the video and only to see it ghosted by yt. i somehow cant find the motivation to start over even though i am telling myself that i am going to buy an even bigger new house in 2 years..

Exactly right. Working through methods as such will help you to an extent or none at all. Methods are given to give you an idea, to get you started. You have to use your creativity. It's nice to see OP using a method of his own. That's how it is supposed to be done. Good luck and may the buck be with ya :D

that's crazy years... do you have a family to feed on? more crazier if yes... me myself is down right now. After making and banking good it went all down to the grave.. If I will relate on the image I am at time of 2012 when your ebay and ecommerce shut down... I am on recovering process right now... If you don't mind me asking base on the image tumblr is making good for you more than 6k per month? are you doing adsense there?

    thanks

i think the fundamental reasons of my failure in e-tailing was i am too lazy, and i never liked retail, customer service. so i kinda dont like to call it a failure. i did ebay for almost 10 years, and after about 3 years, i started zencart e-commerce sites. my main site had up to 120K dropship items.

back then i used google base (merchant center). i was getting pretty good in ranking and got sales for free, and then there came google base account ban. i was too late (lazy) to create new base account. you can have rather large markup if done right (or lucky). i think google base dealt the major hit.

my focus was never on finding profitable merchandises. i was focused on automation. my goal was to come in office every morning to a pile of already-printed shipping labels. label printing and order processing was almost totally automated at some point. my neglecting ebay feedback (which was frustrating to start with) drove my ebay search rank into abyss. as a result, i was never able to really use the automation programming.

with dropship setup, i added a few webstores that also got me free sales, e.g., ecrater, vendio. i even created 10 vendio stores, and had 3 credit card merchant accounts. i had all the product data upload automated. advantage is they do google base for you automatically! i made $500 profit in 1 sale within days of vendio setup. in the end, credit card thieves that ordered like hundreds of dollars of teabags also hurt me. [btw, NoblePay (credit card merchant account) scam me for 1 full year. the owner is called Chris Swift. they continue to charge me after i canceled all my merchant account. he hang up on me and refuse to take calls. the worst thing is i am too lazy to file a dispute with the bank. i just have to spread the words about the NoblePay fucker.]

i was pretty sure about how to make it big in e-tailing. i just never wanted to accept the concept of selling loads with tiny profit each. i never really used affiliates. i was reluctant to take risks on those ppc portals (nextag, etc. forgot the others). i later found go4funding where you might be able to find some angels?

an idea was i used credit cards for all dropship purchases. the cards give 1% cash back, and 1 month of time to pay. 50k sales a month will give you an iPad. i started missing full payment, and interests started adding. tbh, i dont even know what happened... i just didnt want to do it anymore. i did not even want to know! i realized that i might be just the laziest person on earth.

yes, adsense. thats why i really need to work on yt+cb. i once used tumblr with linkbucks and my mass-like program to get $2k/mon for a couple months. in the end, it's all about stability which i can see only in yt+cb. it's no use if you can bank $2K a day and nothing in months. so NEVER follow those quick-bucks instructions if you have to constantly start over. its a waste of time in the end.

do you realize that having a family to feed on is an achievement?! at least an achievement on manhood, i'd say.

another problem of mine - i was reluctant to get a job. i have no concept of work ethics. i thought about teaching community college, and i already felt like dying just imagining it.
