My 1st Journey to $145/day with YouTube & Adsense

Hello everyone,

After reading some success stories, and journey threads I decided to start my own.

My skill set:
Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop - my mane source of income now.
Good knowledge in photography.
Wordpress & some work with templates for it.

After shooting a spec commercial and uploading it to youtube I earned my first $100 with Adsence, and that is where I decided to explore the field.

I did my research here in 2014 and don't remember a thing, but today on a coffee brake I decided to revise the forum, and have a topic in mind that I want to explore through youtube videos.

Prep:
1 - Open a new youtube channel, since all the video are going to be done from scratch
2 - Link it to my Absense
3 - Make a Logo
4 - Make a Header
5 - Fill in info text

Goal:
A - Upload 2-3 videos a week
B - Keep updating this post
C - Learn more about youtube seo and use it.

(Everything that I did I will describe in here.)

Today is December 10, 2015 - and I start from scratch!

good i will follow you i am also working on youtube i started only a week ago and i am now making around 2$ a day not much but i want to achive my goal and that is 20$ a day

Best of Luck OP,
but I would prefer if you first learn more about youtube, try, have a good and more detailed plan in your mind and then start a Journey.

Today is Day 2 of my Journey,

First of all, thank you guys for the support, actually today I spend much more time working on the videos because of that!

Here are the updates:

1 - All the prep was finished:
A - The Youtube channel is up and running
B - The logo is done as well
C - Same with the header for the channel
D - The channel info text is there
E - The youtube channel is on my old Gmail account so Adsense is from my second channel linked with this one

2 - I bought an animation template for the first videos, and it took me almost half of the day to fix it because it was to short, and my video still is 1:45, but that is where I want to stay for now - under 2 minutes.

3 - The video is done and to finish it I did this:
A - Got an Idea yesterday
B - Yesterday and today researched google for material
C - Prepared super short text
D - Looked through Royalty Free Music libraries and got my audio track
E - Added logo in the beginning and the end of the video + a small version of it through out the video (dimmed)
F - This time did not do any dialog, but am thinking about upgrading to it

4 - On the weekends I have my regular work to finish and in two days will start working on a new video
A - The Idea is already ready
B - The template is done as well
C - I need only to find the material and the song

5 - Now I am about to upload the video, it is rendering, and while I'm doing it I will answer and ask some questions:
A - Can I send this thread to the proper section? If yes - how?
B - My plan per day:
c - More generate more ideas for videos
d - Upload 10 videos with in 3-4 weeks
e - See how the views are doing and if needed buy some YouTube promotion

Since now there is money involved am going to start a budget topic, I bough a template so now I'm at:

6 - Budget:

Today is Day 5 of my Journey,

I was away for 2 days working on a day job, but as promised I came back to the journey on Monday!

Here are the updates:

1 - I have made and uploaded my second video
2 - I have updated the description for both videos
3 - Am having problems with compression, but I hope to fix it
4 - Did a research on my next couple of videos
5 - The channel is new so I have only 16 views (Am not promoting it at all)

Budget:
-$28

Will be updating in 2 days.

Day 6 of my Journey,

After uploading one video yesterday, I was not satisfied and started working on new material first thing in the morning.
So I started working first thing in the morning.

Here are the updates:
1 - Uploaded 2 more videos (Total of 4 now)
2 - Made playlists and am grouping the videos
3 - Updated the descriptions of all videos
4 - Found materials for more videos
5 - Did research on how to promote my channel
6 - Updated the template for the videos

Plan:
Will keep the same routine until I will make 30 videos, after that will start changing the way I present the content.

Budget:
