Hello everyone

Before I start, I want you to know that English isn't my motherlanguage(dutch is) but I'll try my best :)
I'll explain my journey and some tips here and there that used to work for me.
Hopefully this can give you a little motivation to chase your dreams!
So, let's start!

Fiverr, my first online source of income. I started in April 2015 as a legit graphic designer. I didn't steal anyone's content, I spent hours working on designs and did my best to be respectful and just a nice person to work with. It took me 8 months to get my first order.

What I did to get my first order was easy, but I didn't do it because I did not think about it. I made Twitch overlays, but I was the cheapest one on the whole platform. For an offline, brb, thx screen, panels, overlay and facecam I charged 5$ which took me 1-2hours to make exclusive rework etc and I did it within 24 hours. She was a very nice lady and gave me a 5 star review and then it basicly started. I got one order, two orders a week and finally daily orders. I then raised my prices a little bit and worked my butt off. I woke up designing and went to bed working on designs. But I got tired, I got so many orders I couldn't keep up, I had to decline orders which messed with my rating and brought my prices up higher. Then I charged around 40$ for a whole package. I recieved 3-4 orders a week which I was very happy with since I was still in school and lived with my parents back then.

But then everything slowly changed, I don't know why but I suddenly didn't get any orders anymore. I lowered my prices but nothing helped. I bought reviews, views op my gig, etc but still no results. I'm still on Fiverr, I used to get 1 order a month but now I've been dry for 6 months. Now I wanna start over again. I'm going to do the same as before. I'm going to offer everything for 5$ and hopefully be able to achieve what I achieved back then.

For everyone who wants to start doing Fiverr, do it.
You can basicly set up your work, give it a nice title etc and wait or buy some reviews.
If you're good at what you do, you will be rewarded.

This is my first ever journey post ever, so if someone has questions ask them and I will anwser to everyone :)

Good luck mate maybe try the other freelance sites Upwork, freelancer etc.

Burn out is a dangerous thing. I've literally experienced the same more times than I can count, but it takes time to really build a system that lets you do what you have to AND want to.

Good Luck!

I've started off as a web designer too, but freelancing got a bit too much to handle at one point, so now i only design stuffs for myself. For anyone looking to sell genuine services or doing freelance work, fiverr is definitely a great place to start :)

Do you build any SEO stuffs to fiverr gig ? what is the ranking formula in fiverr

anyway i wish you best of luck mate :)

Getting order and having your gig page ranked are very difficult on fiverr.
due to competitions.
Good-luck to you OP, am also on fiverr too but getting orders have always been my problems

I purchased 3 reviews here on BHW in January, took about 2 weeks to get my first order & I'm up to 4 actual orders so far. So happy, the domino effect is in place.

Sorry I only bought the 3 to get started, I don't want to risk getting banned on Fiverr.

There are some great people on the marketplace that will sell you reviews for like $3 on top of the $5.

Also, I was just wondering what you did to rank your Fiverr gigs initially. Did you create a blog showcasing your gigs? Did you use social media? If so which ones. What was the context of your social media advertising?

I'm sorry I'm not able to exchange reviews. I'm not a fan of black hat & consider this grey hat because you don't stand a chance unless you buy reviews but I like to stay white hat cause anything else bites you in the ass in the long run if done enough.

Just wondering normally how much do you buy reviews for? I started using fiverr a long time ago but I don't get a lot of orders......

Same happens to me bro
working since 2013 as SEO expert and Web developer and got disabled my account Dec 2018
Because one indian guy report me my prices are high and can get the same service for lower
Boom my account was banned
Start again but don't only depend on fiverr

Ezest money on fiverr was always premade templates from vectors and psd photoshop..however fiverr is not what it use to be...less traffic so you will need solid number of fake reviews to get some exposure.

Fiverr is kind of saturated with others with similar offers.
Its not that you wont make money, its just that you make not make as much.

The services are needed in many other areas, websites, forums, etc.
You may want to consider adding different channels to your revenue stream.
