I have setup a lot of different autoblogs. Some I spent a lot of time on individual sites making them look almost like a person was updating them. Others I went more "generic" with as many as 6 domains with 5 subdomains each all interlinking with free sites acting as "buffers" and all links going one direction to avoid any possibility of reciprocal links. The one thing I've learned is that for an autoblog to be successful you need a way of building links. I think a lot of people setup autoblogs and somehow expect that the automatic content generation will take care of link building (which it can in some cases). At one point this might have been true but now "auto blog" is one of the most common phrases someone new to making money online will hear. There are a ton of them out there. You can make yours rise above the rest with a solid backlinking strategy for both the main site and each individual post. You can use OnlyWire with the autosubmission plugin for every post and go back and do the captchas manually at the end of the day. In addition to this get a list of your posts at the end of the day and build 2-3 directory links to each of them. You can also do a miniature linkwheel of 3 sites for each post. This is obviously a lot more effort but it allows your entire site and each individual post to avoid the "Google bullshit index" as I call it which is where 99% of auto blog posts go now. Anyway, just thought I'd share my method for success with autoblogs. All the rest is known by everyone (as far as making sites). I've just noticed this actually results in income and traffic whereas before I would get a steady number of impressions every day from the short time my posts were "fresh" until they dropped into oblivion.
