Wow MxBounty Is Scrubbing Leads like hell..

I've been with them for about 2 years, passively promoting them, nothing major.
a few hundred dollars in 2 years or so.

Today, I saw an offer, I wanted to promote it so I thought I'd try it out before promoting. So I filled it myself. It was supposed to convert after xx number of steps & confirmation but it didn't.

It was fairly simple to signup and confirm, so there's no question of a mistake. Wow no wonder why people keep complaining :D

its not only maxbounty its with every minor/major cpa company. You never know when your leads gotta scrubbed. That's why I always emphasize to split test the same campaign between two/three different networks and see the results.

i have run campaigns with some NWs' and i got o sales....same traffic othe rNW's i get like 20+....and I'l ltell you it happened a LOT!

Scrubs on emails are 60-80%.....so if you filled one in chances are it would be scrubbed. Def. got a lot worse in then past year.

Yes they doooooo!!! Even though I have not made to much money with them, I have gotten few submits scrubbed..1-2 of them were for $7 payouts too :(....The thing is they do have some pretty good offers...at least well to me.

Are we talking scrubbing or shaving?

Scrubbing = removing email addresses already in their list and/or removing ones that seem dubious (ie, they match the email address of one of their affilates).

Shaving = Not crediting you for a valid submit that.

The problem is that from the affiliates stand point there is no easy way to tell the difference. The most viable way is to create a clean email address and do a submit with it and then stay on their list and buy something so you are a "good" lead and then see if you get credit for it. You'd have to do this multiple times with separate IP's and fresh email addresses. Otherwise the network will just say it was a software glitch.

There's probably other ways to tell too of course.

Scrubbing of about 80% at first page submits is normal amongst most networks. Just accept it and promote offers with payout of $2 or more. And it is not the advertiser's fault, of course everybody tries to suppres as much leads as possible but mainly they do it because of all the low quality leads.

Scrubs are completely normal. Promoting offers is a numbers game.

LOL this happens in every network out there, advertisers are getting more demanding each day and networks try to cut a bigger piece for themselves, what's left for us the affiliates?

In the future I plan to move away from CPA networks and start signing deals with companies by myself to provide the leads directly, without a network acting as middle man. I think that that's the way to go for anyone who wants to take his CPA game to the next level.
