Don't be so naive. They'll never pay for that glue.

This has happened before. Back in 2000 when a broken pencil sold for $70,000 on eBay. They just bid as a joke, or the seller creates multiple ebay accounts and bids on it as a joke.

I just flushed a turd that looked like a candy cane, sadly I don't think I could have sold it. :ugh:

just goes to show, pay attention... ;)

create something (one of kind) unique (popular niche "trends"), blast it on eGay.
have 15 to 25 of your eGay accounts bid, eventually you will get a legitimate bid. and if you don't you can always cancel the auction.

this listing in particular started for 99 cents.

study the sellers accounts and the bids, suck it up like a sponge.

this particular auction could be BS but this method works, I have done it before, to rule out the possible legitimacy is naive.

There is actually decent strategy behind bidding on your items way up like that. It makes the item seem popular...he just needs one REAL bid and then he's made 130,000E. Now thats a bit of a stretch...but who knows? Maybe someone totally rich with nothing to do will come surfing around ;)

Could be the old P.T. Barnum approach to marketing. :)
