    Hi,

Ok I know this has been posted a few times in the past but now in 2013 it is really really hard (in my case at least). If I try to upload a lyrics video of a new Kanye West song I get immediately an e-mail that it is blocked worldwide, I tried to adjust the speed and pitch a couple of times but I still get the warnings. When I look for competitors on Youtube I see some of them succeed in uploading the same song without fucking it all up so it sounds really bad.

How are they doing it ?

e.g. complete new album of Kanye west recently uploaded : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxYeNJ6X2KE

    cheers

Looks like the video you linked to has now been removed.

I guess they didn't have it right either!

Some things I've seen work are adjusting the pitch (slightly - 1 half step or so), adding time and different audio clips to either side of the song, and cutting off the end of the song (subtracting time).

The detection bots that Youtube are using are world class now, this has changed a lot in the past 6 months. Don't bother trying to change pitch or tone or speed up or slow down the song, it won't work. Their software is even better than SoundHound and Shazaam. the only option you have is to search for a substantial remix of the song that hasn't been copyrighted. Great places to look for this are Youtube and SoundCloud. You can always use a dummy YT account to upload the song to see if it's detected. From my experience, the detection software works really fast, it'll flag your video within 15 minutes of uploading. Good luck!

Same Goes with Sports highlights. You upload even few minutes and it block it right away. However Some people are still getting away with uploading them minutes after they happenned. I am very curious how they are managing to do that ? There is obviously some way ! Isn't there a way to strip off the Content ID's of the Music/video we upload ?

aaaand another music video (selfmade) is banned :D ! It is no use with new upcoming tracks, some older songs get through but not many. The only way I see this work is by uploading music videos/lyrics by genre but just do not add audio to it or delete it if you get a warning. In the description you can put a ppd link to the actual file, however I become more and more aware of the fact that techsavvy people (mostly teens) do not like to fill in an whole survey to download a song (yes you will offer the real song not a fake). Services like ****** are better for this eventhough they pay pennies, we just need an URL shortnerer that pays more :D. Like everything on youtube you have to be one of the first to upload to beat the competition.

Great benefit by cutting the audio off : Adsense allowed ! (did not test it to see if it will result in ban)
