Whats up, I'm a music producer looking to sell my final amount of exclusives online. I'm looking for the fastest way possible because I'm ready to move on to something new. I've been using Soundclick for years to sell my beats and instrumentals but I no longer want anything to do with that website because rappers just want beats for FREE or just steal them with an app. Other sites like Reverbnation, Adwords is not an option because hip hop beats is an over saturated niche in my opinion.

All my pages are popular - Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and I even have my own website but I might sell all of that to a hungry producer after I finish getting rid of the last exclusive beats.

To make a long story short, are there any alternatives to selling beats online? Craigslist? Anything? Or if someone is looking to start a Hip Hop Beats business let's talk numbers and you can have it all. I've been doing this for 4 years and I've lost passion for music production so it's time for me to move on and do something else. Any suggestions would be a blessing. Thanks

P.S. - If anyone is interested in starting a Hip Hop Beats business PM if you don't have the products to start with, I'm willing to make a deal

I have had some success selling electronic music through bandcamp and promoting on YouTube. With instrumentals I would try to build a client list and market to them. You could also promote on YouTube using a famous artists name with your beats; for instance "New Lil Wayne song dreams2reality remix" and have a link to your website in the description.

I'm also a music producer looking to get into the same business. Ive chosen the Youtube road and Fiverr for now. Yes Fiverr isnt setting my sights too high but when your inexperienced I find its best to start with the basics.

An alternative option is to start charging artists IRL to work with you. This can be hard if you don't live in a city though.

Upload them to youtube with ads on them and tell everyone on your pages where they can listen.

Bandcamp...i owe 2 record labels, had distribution in 120 online stores, but for me bandcamp is the best, no Quartal payments, you get money directly to your paypal same moment when someone purchase your music etc... their fee is 15%, and online stores take 30-40%
    Cheers

Thanks for all the advice but I've done every one of those sites and made money from all but not enough to buy a BMW with. There are even more ways rappers can steal beats now! From popular avenues like YouTube, Soundcloud, Soundclick, Bandcamp and more. Rappers are pathetic and expect everything for free. Thank god I changed genres.
