    Hi Guys,

I'm new here although I have been a spectator for several months. I've browsed through many threads and found so much useful information.

I have an idea to for a YouTube channel and I'm wondering if anyone could help me. I was wondering are you able to monetize your YouTube channel and videos which are music based, as in I will be downloading original tracks from YouTube and editing them myself (ie making different bass, pitch and notes) and then later uploading the new music track which will be a completely different sound.. or is this a narrow road to getting my videos instantly removed and my account banned?

I would greatly appreciate any solid advice and information.

    Thanks,
    Alexis

Just don't go into music and you'll be safe.

Make your own non copyrighted music.
    AdSense the video
Add cool effects, most people inc myself use after effects to make an radial spectrum that moves with the beat.
Search for tuts on how to make
Then post your music to social I.e Facebook etc then post on non copyrighted music.com
Then your views should rise from there :)

As soon as a melody, bass, even beats are played from an artist then Mr YouTube ID works his magic.
Audio manipulation don't work as far as I know.
