My plan was to buy a general domain, hostgator baby hosting and start a network of microniche autoblogs working on subdomains of that domain...

What do you nthink about having multiple autoblogs on the same domaiN? COuld that lead to any problems, or could I still make some proffit?

PS: I was planning to use scrape box on each of the autoblogs...

    Any tips regarding this?

Necada I am in the process of the doing the same thing, however, I need
the same questions answered that you have.

Did you find the thread that the previous poster suggested? I have done a
search with all the titles that it would probably be under, but I still have not
    found it.

The plan is okay. But I will suggest to target broad niches. And obviously focus on SEO. You have to put extra effort on SEO as you are gonna use sub-domains.
    Good Luck :)

My biggest concern is the blogs being on the same host and under de same domain... Am I more likely to get deindexed or something?

Because I plan to have well over 50 blogs and use scrapebox with all of them

And to rank will it be more difficult? even if the subdomain contains de keywords?

I'm pretty sure each subdomain is treated like a different domain in the search engines. I don't think it's a good idea to interlink them though.

The problem I ran into is running my web host out of resources. Kept getting '500 Internal Server Errors', and support looked into why. I was pulling from 20 different sources (keywords) with wp-robot on each page and posting fairly frequently. Going to tone it down and see if that helps.

Do you plan on using WP? WP MU?
I assume you know better than to do a complete install of WP on each sub domain if you are planning on having a lot of them on a HostGator baby.

I plan on using WP... Not so sure about WP MU...

My original plan was to creat a main autoblog with all the themes and plugins and use wptwin to clone it over and over...

But perhaps its better and less resource consuming to use WP MU.. What do you think?

And If I have lets say 100 blogs with WP MU , they migh be using the same db , wont that overload the server and the db?

I don't believe the DB are going to overload the server, but I think reinstalling wp multiple times will. I can't get to the links right now cuz I am at work but bluehatseo dot com has a great article on domain spamming. It's 2nd or 3rd article down. Also a good article:

because a lot of blogs would be under the same IP, being boosted by scrapebox and using autoblog
