Hello,
I have a question from an SEO perspective: what to do with a Multilanguage e-commerce website where articles, titles, URLs are not translated (try to avoid duplicate content issues).
On the other hand, only product descriptions are translated.

The website runs Google Ads and Social PPC. Should I no-index them, but are these pages will be visible for Social Media and Google Ads?

having the proper href langs won't make the content duplicated, neither you'll have any problems related to that, you can easily handle this using some plugin like WPML,
and you can use pretty much the same titles, URLs with different articles in different languages if it fits the language itself (product name as example)
so it's not something that you should really worry about it

So basically if hreflangs are correct that should be enough to avoid duplicates, right?

Hello,

Just want to make sure if I have not translated content and 4 different languages (France, Italy, Japan and English - default)

By adding this, will it solve duplicate content issues?

<link rel="alternate" hreflang="x-default" href="url">
<link rel="alternate" hreflang="en" href=url">
<link rel="alternate" hreflang="fr" href="url/fr">
<link rel="alternate" hreflang="it" href="url/it">
<link rel="alternate" hreflang="ja" href="url/ja">
