My MTURK account just got suspended. Lost a bit of money, but I'm more disappointed the technique being taken away.

I'm not entirely sure which one it is, but I'll list them below and update it later.

    1. Paying people to go to my youtube video, watch it, click thumbs up, and leave a comment. (I may have adsense on that video, but don't encourage clicks, and I think that would ban me from adsense, not mturk)

    2. Search in Google, my main search term, click on my site, stay there for at least a minute, and click on an internal link. (Doing a test)

    3. Go vote for me in a specific contest.

And a few other smaller tasks.

None of which seem to be against the TOS. Be careful if you use any of those.

the suspend is no doubt triggered by a threshold of complaints automatically.

Who would be complaining? I have it on auto-approve after 7 days. Would it be because the link to the video is on there?

We have suspended your Mechanical Turk account effective immediately. I'm sorry that you did not receive any warnings regarding this suspension.

You continued to post Human Intelligence Tasks that violated the terms of our HIT listing policy. All of your HITs have been removed from our web site, regardless of whether they had been answered.

We regret that we can no longer do business with you.

LOL wtf is that supposed to mean? You're only supposed to give tasks that require no intelligence?

I had the same problem. Anyone know anyone besides mechanical turk where volume hits on articles can be made for a decent price without getting suspended.

It means he is falsely counting up hits on his websites and videos.

That is what a task is called on Mturk, simple as that.

Try Donkeymails for a load of article views. Very easy to set up and very cheap. Search for their site and browse all the options.
