Not technically, but I've been thinking about this a lot and reading up on it. This sparked to my mind reading a post by some people who are happy to work all day solving captchas to earn $1 a day, in their country it is enough to survive on. At the moment, I am only making around $40~ USD daily and it's been a real struggle for me for the past few months, with the cost of living and paying rent. I don't have a day job, and I rely on the internet for all my income. I've been thinking, if I moved overseas to a poorer country, even though I would earn the same amount of money, the cost of living would be far, far cheaper and I would be living a lot better off than I am in Australia. What are your thoughts? Any Blackhatters living in third world countries?

Lots of internet marketers live in south america and SE Asia.. places like Thailand can be great to live and very cheap.. Cambodia even cheaper but less developed..

You should take a holiday to Thailand

I'd rather be poor as fuck in Australia than rich as fuck in an Indian village in the middle of nowhere.

If you want to go traveling I have friends who have just spent 3 months in SE Asia and it cost them less than £10 a day. Go do that... but think about it. Health care is going to be very poor, these people will see you as rich meaning you will have people begging you everyday, you won't speak their language or understand their culture... It will not be simple.

It's really not like you have it set out in your head, stick to what you're doing, scale it up and stay where you are.

I wouldn't say that all of SEA is a developing country. There are countries in SEA that has a cost of living higher than what Australia or the US has.

I think its a dumb idea if we are going by thread title. If you can't make money work for you in a fully developed country, then maybe you need to learn how to correctly make money. Hit the psychology books kids and learn a thing or to about how the mind works.

Eastern Europe would probably be a better place, its cheaper than Australia, lower taxes great internet(locally with lower ping time to all the great data centers) compared to some 3rd world country in Asia or Africa.

The key is finding a happy medium between estimated expenditures and quality of life. Yeah, you can move to Bumfuck, Vietnam and live like a king. But what kind of life would you really have?

I'd rather take my $90k to $110k a year and live a modest, happy life in the southeast US, close to family and friends instead of wiping myself off the map and living like a king in southeast Asia.
